Celebrity Cruises has announced its 2010-2011 South America cruise itineraries, sending the Celebrity Infinity to South America for the season. This will be the eleventh season that Celebrity has sailed in South America.

Ports of call will include destinations in Peru, Chile, Valparaiso, Columbia, and Argentina. Guests will also have the opportunity to cruise the world famous Panama Canal, taking in the breathtaking scenery that one of South America’s most picturesque destinations has to offer.

Optional shore excursions will include a wine tasting tour of the CasablancaValley in Valparaiso, Chile, and a city sightseeing tour combined with a Tango show in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Guests will also have the option to take in the sights of the city via the Evita tour, ending at the EvitaMuseum, dedicated to the life and work of one of the most important women in Argentine history.

The Celebrity Infinity includes a solarium, spa café, Persian garden and the dazzling Celebrity Theatre, where guests can enjoy Broadway style performances whilst sipping a cocktail.
