Joining Azamara Cruises in 2007, Azamara Journey is identical to her fleet sister, the Azamara Quest. Dining is a delight onboard Azamara Journey with four main dining venues to choose from. The main waiter-service Discoveries Restaurant has an open-seating dining policy meaning you can dine when, where and with whom you like whilst for something more casual there is the Windows Café offering the same world-class cuisine but in a more relaxed environment. There are also two speciality restaurants - Aqualina, offering a fusion of Mediterranean and North African cuisines and Prime C, an upmarket "surf n" turf restaurant. There is also a poolside grill for lunch and dinner and a coffee bar. After dinner The Azamara Cabaret plays host to production shows and entertainers whilst there are a number of comfortable bars, lounges and clubs to choose from or tempt Lady Luck at Luxe, the plush onboard casino. For recreation there is a beautiful outdoor pool with whirlpools, a state-of-the-art fitness facility with floor-to-ceiling windows and complimentary aerobics, yoga and Pilates classes, and a world-class AquaSpa, featuring the finest Elemis treatments.

93% of Azamara Journey’s staterooms have ocean views, with 70% having balconies and all enjoying complimentary butler service. Wonderfully appointed features include such comforts as a 23” plasma TV, plush robes and Elemis bathroom products plus little extras like a daily fruit basket, fresh flowers and pillow chocolates, while anyone booking a suite will also receive welcome champagne, daily savouries and complimentary coffees.

Dining

The main restaurant, "Discoveries", serves up all the classic dinner favourites. And, with its open seating policy, you can dine as and when you want.

If you want to dine somewhere less formal - try the "Windows Café". A casual eatery, it even incorporates a small sushi café.

There’s also the "Aqualina" restaurant. Here the Mediterranean-style cuisine is bursting with flavour. Another alternative is "Prime C", grill and fresh seafood items are the specialities. Reservations are required at both of these restaurants.

There’s also a poolside grill for lunch and dinner - here you grab a burger, pizza, pasta dish and more.

Fancy a nice, frothy cappuccino and a scrumptious pastry? Then head to the "Mosaic® Café".

Leisure

Azamara Journey has an array of activities to choose from. If you like swimming, there’s an outdoor swimming pool. There are two whirlpools and a thalassotherapy hot tub too – perfect for just relaxing in. For an early morning jog, head to the jogging track – just one deck above the pool.

For art lovers, there are "Art Auctions" on-board. Offering original works from many well-known artists, Azamara’s "Art Auctions" also feature critical commentaries by scholars from Harvard, Yale and the National Gallery. There are also luxurious shops and boutiques on-board, including "Indulgences", which has everything from fine cognac to designer eyewear.

Fancy a challenge? "Mind Exercise" will get that mind of yours working. Great fun, brain teasers and trivia contests will put you to the test! There’s a line-up of on-board fitness activities too – offering the "fun way" to get fit.

The "Fitness Centre" is equipped with the latest in aerobic and weight-training equipment – ideal if you like a good work out. Private instructions from certified personal trainers are also available. Yoga and Pilates classes are available too - both complimentary.

Entertainment

Warm up the evening in the "Martini Bar " and treat yourself to your favourite cocktail.

The entertainment hot spot on-boat the Azamara Journey is "Celebrity Cabaret". The venue for all shows, in the evenings you can expect a combination of classical concerts - as well as comedy and drama. Also, in various destinations, local entertainers are brought on board. To dance the night away, there’s "The Nightclub", which has music to suit everyone. Before heading off to your room for the night, enjoy a nightcap in "Michael’s Club" while listening to the rich tones of the piano. Or, you can visit the "Casino"and see if Lady Luck’s on your side.

Relax

Relax in the world-class "AquaSpa", which features the finest Elemis treatments.

Treatments used here are inspired by rituals from exotic cultures. Choose from Elemis Aroma Stone Therapy, facials and aromatherapy massage…plus many more.

There’s an "Acupuncture at Sea" clinic too. Perfect at banishing stress and anxiety, it’ll leave you feeling renewed and refreshed.

Appointments are in-demand - so ensure availability by booking early.

For a relaxing read in a comfortable setting, head to the Library.

Family

Guests of all ages are welcome on-board. But please note that there are no formal children’s programming, youth staff, or a dedicated youth facility are available on the ship.

Medical & Accessibility

On-board there are two qualified doctors, and three nurses. Wheelchair assistance is provided for boarding and departing only. On-board there are 6 wheelchair accessible cabins and there are 4 elevators. There is also a variety of equipment available - including shower stools, bed extensions and raised toilet seats.
