Carnival Inspiration offers a myriad of great dining choices, fantastic fitness facilities, a spacious spa, 12 bars and lounges, two spectacular showrooms, a casino, spacious accommodations and award-winning kids and teen programs. In 2007 she also received an extensive upgrade as part of Carnival’s "Evolutions of Fun" program emerging with a host of new amenities and facilities, including Carnival WaterWorks, an expansive children’s aqua park with a 300-foot-long water slide, dual-racing slides and water jets plus the creation of Serenity, a secluded adults-only area and a totally redesigned resort-style main pool.

With dining such an important part of the Carnival holiday experience Carnival Inspiration offers a wide variety of formal and casual options, including the full-service Carnivale and Mardi Gras formal dining rooms and the poolside Brasserie Bar & Grill, a casual eatery serving all-day buffets and a 24-hour pizzeria. The ship also features a patisserie, a sushi bar and rotisserie, as well as complimentary 24-hour room service.

Carnival Inspiration has a guest capacity of 2,076, a length of 855ft and a gross tonnage of 70,367. Her maiden voyage was March 1996 and she cruises at a comfortable speed of 21knots/24mph.

Dining

The main dining rooms aboard Carnival Inspiration are "Mardi Gras" or "Carnivale" where you can choose from a whole choice of tasty dishes. If you prefer something a little more casual then you can choose from; the healthy option of "Salad Bar", "Bar Deli Pizza", "Lido Restaurant" for a buffet style eatery and a whole variety of snack bars serving hot dogs, burgers, chips and pizza. Carnival Inspiration has a coffee shop, which boasts a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere to sit with a cuppa and read a good book.

Leisure

If you want to keep in touch with loved ones at home whilst aboard Carnival Inspiration then you can use the state-of-the-art computers in the "Fun Hub", or for a relaxing afternoon then head on down to the Adult-only lounge. The waterpark is one of the most spectacular activities on Carnival Inspiration, with Swimming Pools and water slides and there is even a pool for the young’uns with fountain sprays and tipping buckets. The "Sports Square" is full of facilities to use if you want to burn off all that extra energy. There is a football pitch, table tennis, basketball, volleyball and a mini golf course. There is also a running track and an outside gym with exercise bikes, treadmills and weight machines.

Entertainment

Carnival Inspiration is home to a boatload of fun and this includes entertaining all her guests. You can choose from watching a big production show in the "Main Lounge" with cabaret acts, comedians and more, dance the night away in the on-board disco with a dance floor in the shape of a guitar and unwind with friends in a number of venues around Carnival Dream including; "Pool Bar", "Piano Bar" and "Casino Bar". The Casino on-board Carnival Inspiration is home to slot machines and gaming tables where you can play your hand at black jack, poker, craps and more!

Relaxation

The "Cloud 9 Spa" offers a whole host of indulgence treatments as you can treat yourself all day long to a soothing massage, soak in the ionized seawater at the Thalassotherapy Pool, indulge in one of the many treatments or head to the salon for a brand new make-over. Carnival Inspiration is home to a fantastic library for anyone who likes to sit in a peaceful atmosphere, with a cup of coffee and a good book.

Family

Carnival Inspiration has an excellent youth programme which is split into different ages so each group gets their own designated place on the ship, designed just for them. Just a few of the things to do are; video games, karaoke, watch films, pool parties, dance parties and the younger ones can even have a sleepover with all their new friends. Carnival Inspiration provides a children’s menu at meal times with all the kiddie favourites you can imagine such as, fish fingers, chips and beans. There are healthy options as well of course!

Medical & Accessibility

The medical staff on-board Carnival Inspiration are available 24 hours for emergencies. Comment medical problems such as motion sickness can be treated on-board with tablets available in the medical centre. If you know of any prescription drugs that you need then it is best to bring them with you as the medical centre may not have everything available. Carnival Inspiration is dedicated to ensuring guests with special requirements are fully accommodated for. The ship features fully equipped staterooms, accessible lifts with reachable controls and audible facilities for guests with sight difficulties. The corridors are wider to accommodate for wheelchairs, and there is a diagram pointing to all the wheelchair seating and toilets.
