Costa Cruises are renowned for their cuisine choices and onboard Costa Serena there is everything from sumptuous buffets to four fabulous restaurants including the á la carte Club Restaurant with menus created in association with Michelin-starred chef Ettore Bocchia. One of her most prominent features however is the two-deck Samsara Spa, described as the largest wellness centre afloat complete with double-deck fitness area, gym, thermal baths, Thalassotherapy pool, treatment rooms, hot tubs, sauna and Turkish baths. Other highlights include a Grand Prix Simulator, four swimming pools - two with a retractable glass roof, one with water slide, a huge 18 square metre megascreen showing movies and live events day and night.

There are plenty of dining options on-board Costa Serena to satisfy every appetite. The main dining areas are "Ceres Restaurant" and "Vesta Restaurant" both serving a whole choice of tasty dishes. "Samsara Restaurant" offers a healthy option for dinner with a low calorie, low fat menu. "Club Bacco" is a luxury dining area where you can eat the finest cuisine under the stars as the restaurant features a glass dome as the roof. For casual options you can dine at "he Promotea Buffet Restaurant" which is a buffet self-serve eatery offering guests anything from burgers to seafood and if you fancy a great cup of coffee and a cake then head down to "Cafeteria".

Leisure

There are plenty of activities aboard Costa Serena to keep you busy until you leave. You can choose from one of the four Swimming Pools to bathe in, and there is also plenty of deck space if you want to soak up the sun. The Fitness Centre is home to state-of-the-art resistance machines and free weights, plus you can make good use of the Jogging Track. You can play a game such as Tennis or Basketball on the Sports Court or go and grab yourself a duty free bargain in the Shopping Centre. For those who like a good car race then you will just love the Grand Prix Simulator and if you want to keep in touch with loved ones back home then you can do just that in the Internet Café.

Entertainment

There are plenty of venues aboard Costa Serena to keep you entertained all night long. If you enjoy your big production style shows with live music, bands or comedians then head down to "Give Theatre" or visit the Casino to play a great game of either poker, black jack or roulette. If you enjoy to dance the night away to all your favourite songs then "Pan Disco" and "Cupido Dance Lounge" are the places to be or if you enjoy relaxing with a drink in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere then you can try "Apollo Grand Bar", "Classico Ercole Bar", "Lido Sole Bar" and Salone Luna".

Relaxation

Treat yourself to a whole day of pampering in the spa aboard Costa Serena where you can choose from an abundance of treatments including a Turkish Bath and a Therapeutic Massage. Children of all ages can enjoy non-stop fun on-board Costa Serena. With an age appropriate programme dedicated to the youngsters. The children can all hang out in their own area and meet new friends and take part in a variety of activities including; fancy-dress dinners, pool games, discos, parties and shows. There is even a babysitting facility available just in case you the grown ups wanted a night to themselves for one night.

Medical & Accessibility

Just in case of emergencies there are doctors and nurses on-board 24 hours a day. The pharmacy has common supplies although if there is something you know you may need, it is advised to bring it with you. Costa Serena is extremely accommodating for wheelchair users with wider staterooms, hallways and accessible lifts. There are a few wheelchairs on-board but it is advised to bring your own. All wheelchair users must be accompanied by an abled companion.
