Ocean Countess Cruises

Ocean Countess joined the Cruise & Maritime Voyages fleet in April 2010. The ship originally entered service as the Cunard Countess in 1975 and became one of the best-known ships to sail the Caribbean. Before transferring to Cruise & Maritime Voyages, Ocean Countess underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment and upgrading programme to bring her up to today‚s high cruising standards. During the day Ocean Countess offers extensive deck areas, a generous size heated swimming pool, two whirlpools, a pool bar, a shopping gallery, gym with sauna and spa, and massage, hairdressing and beauty facilities.

In the evening she offers traditional two sitting dining in the main Kensington Restaurant whilst the Boat House offers a more casual alternative for lunch. After dinner head for the comfort of the Holyrood Show Lounge for the nightly entertainment show ranging from Broadway revues to solo artists. There are a number of nightspots to choose from including the Tower Piano Bar with panoramic views of the ocean plus card tables and Hamptons, the place to be for late night entertainment.

Ocean Countess has a main dining room; "Kensington Restaurant" offering the finest cuisine, and a buffet style eatery you can find at "The Boat House", or for lighter lunch options you can grab a snack by the pool on Lido Deck.

Ocean Countess offers plenty of leisure activities to take advantage of. Take a dip in the swimming pools, treat yourself to a bargain in the shopping gallery, send your friends and family an e-postcard in the internet café, play a came of cards in the card table room or give yourself a good workout in the fully equipped gym.

Entertainment

The bars and lounges available on Ocean Countess are; "Hollywood Show lounge" for cabaret shows and live music, let yourself unwind with a cocktail and the piano in "The Tower Piano Bar" or for late night entertainment and a few games of roulette and blackjack, then "Hamptons" is the place to be.

Relaxation

"The Jade Wellness Centre" is ideal for pampering yourself with the various treatments they have on offer in the spa. You can have a massage, treat yourself to a beauty facial or even get a new hairstyle in the hairdressers.

Family

Children are welcome and Ocean Countess, however there are no specific children’s programmes as Ocean Countess is tailored towards the adult market, so it would be unusual to see children on-board.

There is a medical centre on-board fully stocked with everything that you may need in case of an emergency and there is always a doctor and nurse on call 24 hours Ocean Countess ensures that she accommodates for wheelchair users with wider corridors, accessibly life’s and there are staterooms dedicated to wheelchair users
