Featuring many of the same popular public spaces and amenities as her older sister, Crystal Symphony, on board Crystal Serenity, there is a wide selection of dining, entertainment and recreational options. She has a great choice of eating venues throughout the day including four superb evening restaurants which are the main Crystal Dining Room offering distinctive international cuisine, Prego restaurant serving Italian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere, Silk Road and The Sushi Bar, each exclusively featuring menus created by the famed chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and Tastes, an open kitchen style restaurant. Other eateries include the buffet-style Lido Café, the casual poolside Trident Bar & Grill and The Bistro for morning and afternoon snacks.

After dinner the Galaxy Lounge is the ship’s main entertainment venue featuring lavish Broadway-style production shows. There is also Hollywood Theatre for recently released movies and a wide variety of bars and lounges including the Stardust Club for dancing and cabaret, Avenue Saloon cocktail and piano bar, the Connoisseur Club cigar lounge, Palm Court observation lounge, and Pulse disco plus a casino with slot machines.

For recreation there are two large pools, one flanked by two Jacuzzis and the second covered by a retractable roof for all weather conditions. In addition there is a state-of-the-art fitness centre, exercise studio, jogging track and sports deck with a golf driving range and putting green, shuffleboard court, table tennis and two full-size paddle tennis courts. The Fantasia children’s centre and Waves teen centre offer something for young cruisers. For relaxation the Feng Shui concept Crystal Spa offers a total escape complete with saunas and steam rooms.

In terms of accommodations there are large, private verandahs in more than 85 percent of staterooms whilst the remainder have large picture windows.

Facts & Figures

Crystal Serenity’s maiden Voyage was on the 7th July 2003. Carrying 1,070 passengers, she measures 820 feet (250m) in length - and weighs 68,000 tonnes. She travels along at 21 knots/24mph.

Dining

The Crystal Dining Room’, is the main place to eat on the Crystal Serenity. A favourite with guests, it offers international cuisine in a highly elegant setting.

There are alternative evening restaurants on-board too&hellipFor fine Italian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere there’s The "Prego" restaurant.

There’s also "Silk Road" which specialises in Asian cuisine. And, if you like your sushi, then you must try out the popular "Sushi Bar". The menus here have been overseen by Japanese master chef, Nobu Matsuhisa. Reservations are required at all three of these restaurants.

If you’re after a casual eatery, you can"t go wrong with "Tastes". A poolside, open kitchen restaurant, "Tastes" offer evening drinking with sophisticated international food on the menu.

Another casual venue is the "Lido Café". With both indoor and outdoor seating, the "Lido Cafe" serves breakfast as well as simple selections, including pancakes, omelettes and fresh fish.

The "Trident Bar and Grill" is another tasty option. Here you can tuck in to a Late-Risers Breakfast (until 11.30am). Open throughout the day, the Trident Bar and Grill" is where you can also enjoy hot dogs, burgers, tuna melts and other tasty treats.

For coffees and freshly baked pastries there’s the "Bistro". A casual spot, it has the style and atmosphere of a European street cafe.

There are plenty of bars and lounges where you can go for a drink or two, including the "Avenue Saloon cocktail and piano bar", the "Connoisseur Club cigar lounge", and the "Palm Court observation lounge".

Leisure

Crystal Serenity has two large pools, one is bordered by two bubbling Jacuzzis and the second is covered by a retractable glass dome cover - so you are free to swim in all weather conditions. Both pools are perfect for swimming laps or playing a game of water volleyball in. Other leisure activities include a state-of-the-art "Exercise Studio" - perfect for an early morning workout. For keen joggers, there’s a jogging track. The sports deck on this ship has a golf driving range and putting green. If you want to perfect your game, then attend a complimentary clinic which is hosted on the driving range and putting green by a PGA golf pro. Also on-board is a shuffleboard court, table tennis and two full-size paddle tennis courts. There are yoga and Pilate classes available too - at no extra charge. Crystal Serenity even has a "Creative Learning Institute", which includes foreign language lessons with Berlitz and keyboard lessons with Yamaha – so why not learn something new whilst on your cruise?

Entertainment

You can find lavish Broadway-style production shows in the "The Galaxy Lounge".

In the Dolby equipped "Hollywood Theatre’ recently released movies and classic film favourites can be viewed. Feel like dancing the night away? Then the "Luxe" disco is where it’s at.

For both dancing and cabaret there’s "Starlite Club".

Perhaps you fancy a gamble? There’s a "Casino" where you can play roulette, craps, and blackjack.

Relax

Simply relax in the "Crystal Spa". It offers the ultimate escape. Complete with saunas and steam rooms, plenty of treatments are to be had here, including Aroma Stone Therapy, Japanese Silk Booster Facial and well-being Massages…A peaceful and tranquil place, the spa has the most stunning sea views. There’s a full-service hair salon here too.

Comfortably appointed, the Library offers a relaxing environment - it’s the perfect place to unwind with a book.

Family

Young cruisers will have lots of fun in the "Fantasia Children’s Centre" and "Waves Teen Centre".
