At 151,400 tonnes, Queen Victoria is the second largest ship that Cunard has ever built. Measuring 1,132 feet long, she has the capacity to carry 3,056 passengers. Her maximum speed is 28.5 knots/34mph.

Dining

If you’re staying in the "Britannia" accommodation, then the "Britannia Restaurant" is for you. Here you choose from a selection of a la carte specialities.

There are two Grill Rooms - "Queens Grill" and "Princess Grill". Which of these you dine in depends on your accommodation grade. Both are exclusive eateries - with impressive a la carte menus.

For an alternative choice, there’s the 87-seat "Todd English Restaurant" - where there’s Mediterranean cuisine on offer. Reservations are required here.

Casual eateries include "The Lido Cafe" - which has a buffet where you can help yourself. And then there’s the popular "Golden Lion Pub" - where traditional British pub food is served, including fish and chips and steak and mushroom pie.

The bars and lounges&Hellip; "Café Carinthia", "Chart Room", "Churchill's", "Commodore Club", "Golden Lion Pub", "Hemispheres", "Queens Room", "Verve Clicquot Champagne Bar" and the "Winter Garden". And, then exclusive to Grill guests only, is "The Grills Lounge".

Leisure

Queen Victoria has an array of activities for you to choose from. In warm weather, deck 9 is the place to be with a choice of two swimming pools -and there are five whirlpools too.

For either a gentle or strenuous workout, there’s a fully equipped gymnasium. There are fitness classes available too, including yoga, Pilates, aerobics and spinning classes.

And there are fencing lessons on-board – the first at sea!

As you’re on a cruise, why not play a traditional ocean liner game? There’s a choice of both shuffleboard and deck quoits. You can even compete in a tournament if you’re feeling confident. See the ship’s "Daily Programme" for details.

If you’re a keen golfer, practice your swing with the golf nets on deck. A very interesting place on-board - which is definitely worth a look - is Queen Victoria’s museum. Displaying maritime memorabilia and artefacts complemented by an interactive programme, it brings tales of yesteryear to life.

If you like your shopping, the Royal Arcade is for you. A cluster of seven shops, here you’ll find Harrods, Royal Doulton and Wedgwood. Located just off the "Grand Lobby" is the "Internet Centre", so if you want to send an email or access the internet, this is the place to go.

Entertainment

Take your seat and watch a spectacular show in the magnificent "Royal Court Theatre".

Have a waltz around the dance floor in the elegant "Queens Room". Dance to the sounds of the resident band in Hemispheres. Test your mind in the pub quiz. Or enjoy a flutter in the "Empire Casino" – not sure how to play? Then take part in their complimentary gaming lessons. Every need is catered for on the Queen Victoria.

Relaxation

Her "Royal Spa" by Elemis boasts a range of indulgent treatments and massages. Including the Ionithermie Revitalising Leg Therapy - perfect if you suffer from stiff and sore joints. Then there’s the Royal Bath House. Here you’ll find the hydrotherapy pool, which will soothe those aching muscles - it’ll even help improve your circulation and metabolism too. Effortlessly lounge in one of the heated ceramic loungers here - you won’t want to get up!

For a long-lasting manicure or pedicure, Call in at the "Royal Spa’s Nail Bar".

Hair treatments are available too. Barber services are also available for gentlemen.

Another relaxing place on-board is the Library - perfect for unwinding with a book. The Library has a selection of 6,000 books too.

Family

Children have their very own dedicated play area, "The Play Zone". Filled with toys, games and activities, British nannies supervise the youngsters here.

Medical & Accessibility

Medical team on-board the ship. Any appointments/services carried out at the medical centre are charged at private rates - which can be expensive. So ensure you have adequate travel insurance prior to travelling. Most areas are easily accessible for wheelchair users. 20 of the cabins are wheelchair accessible. There are 12 elevators too.
