In 2009 and 2010 Boudicca will offer itineraries from a number of ports around the UK to the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and Canary Islands including Greenock, Liverpool, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Rosyth and Southampton.

Boudicca has a guest capacity of 856, a length of 679ft and a gross tonnage of 28,390. Her maiden voyage was the 5th June 1973 and She cruises to a speed of 22knots/25mph

Did you know…the name Boudicca comes from the Queen of the Iceni tribe that occupied England’s East Anglia; she led a dramatic revolt against the Romans in AD61, and her body is supposedly buried under platform 10 of London’s King Cross Station

Dining

The main dining areas on the Boudicca are; "Four Seasons Restaurant", "Heligan Room" and "Tintagel", in which you choose from a selection of the finest gourmet food. "Poolside" offers lunchtime snacks, "Rotunda" is a tailor made just to you, so you get to choose what you eat, "Secret Garden Café" is a buffet with an oriental feel and "Marquee Bar" offers chips, burgers and salads. Other eating options are "Rotunda", "The galley" and "Poolside", all of which serve a selection of tasty dishes to choose from. If you are looking for a place to unwind with a drink and a friendly atmosphere then you can choose from a range of bars including; "Neptune Lounge", "Secret Garden café Lounge", "Lido Lounge", "Iceni Room" and "The Observatory".

Leisure

Boudicca has lots of leisure activities to keep you busy all day long. You can play a spot of golf, jog around the promenade, take advantage of the fitness centre with classes such as; Yoga and Pilates, send your family and friends an e-postcard in the Internet Café, take a dip in the Swimming Pool or soak up the sun on the loungers, Shop till you drop with jewellery, clothes and perfume on offer, give yourself some quiet time to read a book in the Library or observe the spectacular art in the Art Gallery.

Entertainment

There are plenty of bars and lounges aboard Boudicca with a variety of shows and entertainment acts. "Neptune Lounge" features live shows and cabaret acts, "Morning Light Pub" has a friendly atmosphere with comedians and live music. "Observatory Lounge" is where you can have a pre-dinner drinks and awe at the extraordinary ocean views, "Lido Lounge" offers cocktails and dancing to the on-board band, or if you fancy your hand with lady luck, then try the "Casino" for Blackjack, Roulette and Poker.

Relaxation

What better way than to spend your day pampering yourself to a selection of treatments in the spa. You can choose from a selection of treatments including; massage, facials, body wraps, all with the magnificent view of the ocean ahead. There is also a hair-dresser on-board for you to get a new style or even just a trim, but it is best to book early as it is a really popular facility.

Family

Children are welcome on-board Boudicca and she does offer children’s activities during the summer, but Boudicca is for the more mature traveller so it would be unusual for children to be on-board.

Medical & Accessibility

There is a medical centre on-board fully stocked with everything that you may need in case of an emergency and there is always a doctor and nurse on call 24 hours. Boudicca has a number of staterooms designed to accommodate for wheelchair users.
