Currently the oldest operational ship in the Hurtigruten fleet, the MS Nordstjernen was extensively modernised in the 1980’s and most recently in 2000 and is used mainly for Arctic sailing around the Spitsbergen Archipelago. This traditional working ship is rich in character but not excessive luxury and has retained much of her original features which creates an extraordinary atmosphere and makes her another firm favourite for many a Hurtigruten enthusiast. more info ›
