MSC Melody is a lovely classic ship with high ceilings giving a wonderful sense of space, comfortable cabins and plenty of facilities and activities. On your cruise you will sample the most exquisite meals in both the main restaurant, "Galaxy" and the outdoor restaurant, "Riviera Terrace". Incredibly tasty, you can enjoy an array of Mediterranean and international cuisine here. For a casual lunch, give "Sunrise terrace" a try. A buffet-style restaurant, here you’ll be presented with a variety of fine Italian and international cuisine. Or, enjoy a lunch by the pool from the grill or pizzeria. And after all of this, there’s still a lavish midnight buffet - and complimentary room service around the clock too. When it comes to drinks, on MSC Melody you’ve plenty of bars to choose from, including "Calypso Bar" and "Junkanoo Bar".

Leisure

There’s plenty to do on the MSC Melody. Swim some lengths - or simply cool off - in one of the outdoor Swimming Pools. One of the pools has a clever "Magrodome" retractable roof, so you can enjoy the pool come rain or shine. There are also three Whirlpools. You can enjoy a jog - whilst breathing in the fresh ocean air - on the ship’s jogging track. For an invigorating work out, get your gym gear on and head to the "Fitness Centre". There are fitness classes available too. Fun games on-board include Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Tennis and Volleyball. And quizzes of all types are regularly held. Love shopping? Head to the duty-free boutiques.

Entertainment

Every evening’s a sparkling affair on-board the MSC Melody. The 500-seat "Club Universe" is the main entertainment venue and features a variety of acts. "Starlight Disco" is the place to go and if you like a good boogie. There are plenty of bars to choose from including "Blue Riband", "Goombay", "Calypso" and "Junkanoo". Want to get snuggled up and watch a movie? Then check what’s on at "Mercury Theatre", which is the ship’s Cinema. For the risk takers, there's the glitzy "Seven Seas casino" .Or, have a game of poke in the ‘Card Room’.

Relaxation

Forget the stresses of your everyday life and truly relax in the ship’s Wellness Centre. From facial treatments, body treatments to various types of massages, there's something for everyone. Little cruisers will have bags of fun, thanks to MSC Melody’s qualified entertainment staff. Available all day, every day, they’ll entertain children and teens aged 3 – 17. And, it’s all complimentary, of course.

Medical & Accessibility

There is a qualified doctor on-board. There’s also a medical centre, which is equipped for first aid and minor conditions only. You should have comprehensive travel health insurance to cover any medical treatment costs. If you’re taking medication, make sure you bring an adequate supply with you. Wheelchair friendly - with wide spacious corridors - the MSC Melody has cabins available for wheelchair users. There are also four elevators. Guests using a wheelchair are advised to travel with someone who is able to assist them both aboard and ashore. Guests must bring wheelchairs for their own use. Only a limited amount of wheelchairs are available on board.
