There are seven restaurants onboard including four dining rooms for Anytime Dining, the International dining room for Traditional dining plus a speciality Italian restaurant and a speciality Steakhouse. In addition there is a casual buffet-style café, pizzeria and hamburger grill. After dinner entertainment options abound with a wide variety of bars and lounges to choose from including the fantastic Wake View Bar plus a huge casino and a large theatre for nightly Broadway and Las Vegas-style productions. In terms of recreation she has four swimming pools as well as a kid’s splash pool and a swim-against-the-current lap pool. One pool is housed in an all-weather conservatory with a sliding glass roof. She also has an ocean view fitness centre, sports court, nine-hole mini-golf course, two golf simulators, a jogging track and a dedicated indoor/outdoor teens"e; and children’s area plus much more. For relaxation the Asian-themed Lotus Spa offers a complete escape. As yet Sapphire Princess does not feature the "Movies Under the Stars" theatre but it is due to be added in 2011.

In keeping with Princess Cruises "more balconies than any other cruise line" tag, Sapphire Princess has no less than 750 staterooms with a private balcony making her ideal for scenery rich cruising in Alaska where she mostly spends the summer months.

The main dining area aboard Sapphire Princess is the "International Dining Room" which is where you can indulge in mouth-watering dishes. If you prefer the idea of choosing when you want to eat then "Pacific Moon Dining Room", "Santa Fe Dining Room", "Savoy Dining Room" and "Vivaldi Dining Room" offer just that. For speciality dining you can choose from; "Sabatini’s" the on-board Italian restaurant, "Sterling Steakhouse" for the finest steak and seafood on this ship or "Ultimate Balcony Dining" offers luxurious meals straight to your door. For casual options you can choose from; "Horizon Court" for a 24 hour dining service, "Patisserie" for coffee and cakes, "Sundaes ice-cream bar", "Prego Pizzeria", "Trident Grill" for burgers and hot dogs and "Afternoon Tea" for a refreshing cup of tea.

Leisure

There are plenty of activities to keep you busy all day long aboard Sapphire Princess. There are various Swimming Pools around the ship including hot tubs and there is even enough deck space for you to soak up the sun if you’d prefer. Sapphire Princess is home to a world-class art collection where you can go and bid on a piece of culture or the Internet Café allows you to keep in touch with family and friends back home. If you like to keep-fit then the Gym and Fitness Centre is fully equipped to offer a good work out including a swim-against-the-current lap pool to put you through your paces. If you prefer golf then Sapphire Princess has a nine-hole putting course and virtual golf simulators, or you can play Shuffleboard and Tennis on the Sports Courts. There are various classes and lectures available with the "ScholarShip@Sea" programme and for those who like to shop, the Boutiques section offers duty free goods.

Entertainment

Sapphire Princess is home to a whole host of entertainment. The main theatre on-board is, "Princess Theatre" which provides a variety of outstanding shows and live musical acts. "Movies under the Stars" is the on-board cinema showing the latest films in a spectacular setting, and "Explorers Lounge" and "Skywalkers Nightclub" are the liveliest places on the ship where you can dance until sunrise. If you fancy your hand at Blackjack, "Grand Casino" has everything you need for a great night of gambling. If you prefer to sit back and unwind with a cocktail then "Churchill Lounge", "Crooners Bar", "Wake View Bar" and "Wheelhouse Bar" offer a welcoming atmosphere to do just that.

Relaxation

Take a whole day out to spoil yourself with a set of treatments in the "Lotus Spa". There are plenty for you to choose from such as; youth enhancing facial, aroma stone therapy, cellulite reduction programme, muscle spa ocean wrap and acupuncture There is even an on-board salon with a whole selection of beauty indulge in. Choose from; manicure, pedicure, teeth whitening, nail manicure, hair styling, hair colouring and barbering services. If you prefer to sit in a peaceful atmosphere and read a book then the Sapphire Princess Library is the place for you.

Family

The kids on-board Sapphire Princess have their own dedicated area, with lots to do, see and discover, all in the care of fully trained professionals. There is an age appropriate programme for children aged 3-17. The young people’s section also includes an arcade full of video games, and has proved extremely popular with the teens. There are plenty of activities including; Karaoke, Board Games, Pizza Parties, and Pyjama Parties to name a few, so you can be assured that your children are having as much fun as you are aboard Sapphire Princess.

Medical & Accessibility

There is a well-equipped medical centre on-board Pacific Princess, with medical supplies and the on-board doctors and nurses. If you need medical supplies then it would be advised to bring them with you for the journey. Sapphire Princess makes every effort to accommodate for wheelchair users, with all staterooms being wheelchair friendly. The hallways are wide and there are lifts all around the decks. If you have a hearing impairment then you will be provided with a TTY kit and the theatres have assisted listening devices. The ship also provides JAWS kits to accommodate for those that are visually impaired.
