There are two formal restaurants onboard including a Traditional dining room and a speciality Steakhouse restaurant. In addition there is a casual 24-hour buffet, pizzeria and hamburger grill plus a patisserie and ice cream bar. After dinner there is a choice of seven bars and lounges, plus two show lounges including a large theatre for nightly Broadway and Las Vegas-style productions. She also features a plush casino and nightclub. In terms of recreation she has a total of four swimming pools including a swim-against-the-current lap pool. She also has an ocean view fitness centre, sports court, virtual golf simulators, a jogging track and a dedicated Fun Zone teens and children’s centre plus much more. For relaxation the Asian-themed Lotus Spa offers a complete escape. As yet Sun Princess does not feature the 'Movies Under the Stars' theatre but it is due to be added in April 2010.

Princess Cruises boasts more balconies than any other cruise line and Sun Princess further backs that up with more than 400 balcony staterooms, which accounts for 70% of all outside cabins onboard.

Whether you prefer the traditional dining of set times or flexible dining so you decide when you eat, Sun Princess accommodates for every taste. The main dining room is; "The Regency" where you can choose from a selection of tasty dishes. For a more acquired taste you can choose from the speciality restaurants on-board which are; "Sterling Steakhouse" for steak and seafood and "Ultimate Balcony Dining" which is a choice of luxury cuisine delivered right to your door. During the day there are plenty of places to grab a quick snack including; "Sundae’s Ice Cream Bar", Poseidon’s Pizzeria, "Trident Grill" for hot dogs and burgers, "Horizon Court" is open 24 hours and is a buffet styled outlet serving sandwiches and nibbles. There is also a patisserie where you can enjoy a cup of coffee with a selection of delicious pastries. "The Riviera Bar", "Sundowners", "Topsiders" are all outside drinking outlets, in secluded areas around the ship and overlook the magnificent ocean

Leisure

Sun Princess is designed to give you the cruise of a lifetime and this includes a ship full of activities to keep you busy all day long. Sun Princess is home to two swimming pools for you to take a leisurely swim, or perhaps you would prefer to unwind in the available hot tubs. There is a virtual golf simulator, sports courts where you can play basketball or paddle tennis, shuffleboard facilities, art Gallery with daily auctions, library and an internet cafe so you can keep in touch with friends and family back home. The ship also has a fully-equipped gym with all the latest treadmill machines and cross trainers, aerobics rooms and free weights.

Entertainment

Sun Princess is home to a whole host of outstanding entertainment. There are two theatres on-board, "The Princess Theatre" and the "Vista Show Lounge" each providing exceptional shows, Cabaret acts and the latest films. "Shooting Stars Disco" is a lively nightclub where you can sing karaoke and dance all night long. If you fancy your hand at Blackjack, "The Grand Casino" has everything you need for a great night of gambling. "Wheelhouse Bar" and "Atrium Bar" are both the perfect place to relax and sip cocktails amongst friends.

Relaxation

Take a whole day out to spoil yourself with a set of treatments in the "Lotus Spa". There are plenty for you to choose from such as; youth enhancing facial, aroma stone therapy, cellulite reduction programme, muscle spa ocean wrap and acupuncture. There is even an on-board salon with a whole selection of beauty indulge in. Choose from; manicure, pedicure, teeth whitening, nail manicure, hair styling, hair colouring and barbering services.

Family

The kids on-board Sun Princess have their own dedicated area, with lots to do, see and discover, all in the care of fully trained professionals. There is an age appropriate programme for children aged 3-17. The young people’s section also includes an arcade full of video games, and has proved extremely popular with the teens. There are plenty of activities including; Karaoke, Board Games, Pizza Parties, and Pyjama Parties to name a few, so you can be assured that your children are having as much fun as you are aboard Sun Princess.

Medical & Accessibility

There is a well-equipped medical centre on-board Sun Princess, with medical supplies and the on-board doctors and nurses. If you need medical supplies then it would be advised to bring them with you for the journey. Sun Princess makes every effort to accommodate for wheelchair users, with all staterooms being wheelchair friendly. The hallways are wide and there are lifts all around the decks. If you have a hearing impairment then you will be provided with a T.T.Y kit and the theatres have assisted listening devices. The ship also provides J.A.W.S kits to accommodate for those that are visually impaired.
