Life on board Discovery is at the pace you set. You may simply wish to unwind around the pool and enjoy the Jacuzzi. You may prefer to find a quiet corner on deck or in the library to immerse yourself in a book. If you are feeling more energetic, visit the health centre for a workout, a sauna or a massage. Enjoy a game of Bridge in the card room. You can even keep up with life at home in the Internet Centre. Alternatively attend a presentation from one of the knowledgeable guest speakers to discover all about the places you’ll visit on your voyage and ensure you get the most from your time ashore. In addition workshops are available where you can brush up your skills or discover new talents such as painting, photography, weaving, singing or even tap dancing.

As the sun sets over the ocean, Discovery comes alive with a host of dining and entertainment options that ensure your evenings on board are as fulfilling and memorable as the discoveries you make ashore. Dinner in the elegant Seven Continents restaurant is a gastronomic delight where you can choose from classic favourites as well as regional dishes reflecting the diverse destinations visited and complement your meal with a selection from our extensive list of fine wines.

After dinner, you’ll have a host of entertainment options. You might take in a reprise of a West End show or a tasteful cabaret production. You might listen to a jazz set or a classical trio in one of the bars or lounges, or dance till the early hours to the strains of the band. In some destinations local folkloric artists are invited on board to entertain you in regional style. You might prefer to watch a blockbuster film at the cinema or even test your wits at one of the quiz nights. There are also numerous bars and lounges which provide the perfect environment to share the excitement of your recent discoveries.
