msy Wind Star has wide open, teak decks with over 10,000 square feet of open deck space allowing guests to find hidden nooks for private moments. During the day you can do as much or as little as you please. Relax on a Balinese lounge chair by the saltwater pool or take a dip in the hot tub. Stay in shape at the state-of-the-art fitness centre with sauna. Water sports enthusiasts will appreciate the complimentary waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, and kayaking from the ship's aft Marina Deck. The library stocks an array of international newspapers, books and games, and a multi-media selection of more than 500 DVD titles and compact discs available for complimentary use.

Dining

There are two main dining venues on-board. First up is "The Restaurant". Chic and elegant, here you’ll enjoy course-by-course California style nouvelle cuisine. With an open seating arrangement, you can dine as and when you want…

Wind Star has a new evening dining experience on-board too – "Candles". Seating up to where 30 guests, this outdoor venue serves up fine steaks and skewers.

There’s also the "Veranda Café", which offers self-serve breakfast and lunch buffets, while on the "Pool Deck" continental breakfasts and afternoon tea is served…

After a romantic, intimate meal? Then opt for the "Cuisine d l’ Amour". A romantic dinner for two, courses are served to your cabin, complete with candle.

Leisure

Take a refreshing dip in the saltwater pool - or simply relax in the hot tub. If you like your water sports then you’ve an array of activities to choose from, including kayaking, water skiing and windsurfing - all from Wind Spirit’s Water Sports Platform. You can go snorkelling and enjoy the underwater beauty of reefs, coral and sea life in many of the ports. For safety reasons, snorkelling is not available from the Water Sports Platform, but is available on shore. And, experienced sailors can even sail a Topper or Rumba Escape Sailboat - which accommodate up to two people. Nearby to the Water Sports Platform is a sauna and gymnasium. The gymnasium features state-of-the-art equipment - ideal for an invigorating work out. For those lazy days, there are Balinese lounge chairs on the deck. The library on-board is well stocked - you’ll find travel guides, international newspapers, novels, DVDs and an internet station here.

Entertainment

There’s no show lounge, shows or cabaret on-board…Wind Spirit is your ticket to peace and tranquillity. The " Skylight Lounge" does have a dance floor though, where entertainers play for your dancing or listening pleasure.

You may also find occasional movies in the main lounges, which feature state-of-the-art video and sound equipment. If gaming is more your style, try your luck in the "Casino".

Relax

Wind Spirit’s luxurious Spa is the most tranquil place on-board. The treatments here include well-being massages, aromatherapy facials, mud treatments and acupuncture. The "Salon" is where you can get your hair or nails beautified.

Another relaxing place is the Library. With a wide selection of books, it’s the perfect excuse to get curled up with a good book.

Family

Children – particularly infants and toddlers - are not encouraged aboard the cruise. Due to the intimate ship size and focus on adult guests, the crew don’t provide care or supervision of children. Nor is there any entertainment on-board for them.

Medical & Accessibility

A doctor and limited medical facilities are available on-board. But, if you take medication, please bring an adequate supply with you.

Any medical services and medicines (except acetaminophen, aspirin and seasickness pills) dispensed by the ship’s doctor will be charged to your shipboard account.

If you fall ill during your voyage and the physician is unable to care for your needs on-board, you will be transferred to medical facilities on shore. Shore side medical care and/or evacuation are not charged to your on-board account. You will need to pay for all these charges. Windstar will try their best to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities. However, the ships weren’t originally constructed to be wheelchair accessible – so the ship may be unsuitable for people who rely entirely on wheelchairs.
