Exotic Shores Beckon Princess Cruises Passengers

Friday, 22 May, 2009

Princess Cruises is launching a selection of its 2010/11 exotic cruises in the Far East, Australia and New Zealand, ahead of its full exotics programme launch later this summer.

Set for early launch is the boutique-style Ocean Princess and the 2,600 passenger Diamond Princess offering a choice of itineraries from 14 to 57 nights. Carrying just 670 passengers, Ocean Princess will offer cruise passengers a more intimate experience of the China seas including a brand new itinerary in China and Japan, while Diamond Princess, offering all the choice of a bigger ship while retaining the feel of a smaller ship, will return to the region to sail popular and new itineraries.

The Ocean Princess will set sail for two new routes in China and Japan, taking in Manila in the Philippines and Xiamen, a charming seaport in China, which is home to the Nanputuo Temple, a Buddhist Temple built over 1000 years ago.

The ever-popular Diamond Princess will return to South East Asia and China sailing 19 night itineraries Beijing and Bangkok or Singapore. Ports will include Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Ming City and Taipai.
