MSC Cruises has updated its food and beverage offerings on board MSC Lirica to appeal to the UK market.

UK passengers on board Dover departures will have the option of homely favourites such as shepherd's pie, Irish stew and roast dinners.

The British tradition of afternoon tea has also been introduced and will be served on the pool deck along with delicate sandwiches and delicious cakes.

Other activities on board include wine tastings, culinary demonstrations of special recipes prepared by the chef, a cocktail demonstration and fruit and vegetable carving lessons.

MSC Lirica is based in Dover and is sailing northern Europe itineraries until the end of August.
