Royal Caribbean International goes 3D

Thursday, 7 January, 2010

Royal Caribbean International is claiming a UK travel brand first with the introduction of 3D cinema advertising in its latest marketing campaign.

The 3D adverts will be shown in Pearl and Dean Cinemas nationwide at screenings of James Cameron’s new blockbuster, Avatar, during the peak cruise sales period from 8 January until 31 March.

They will be combined with additional consumer experiences such as interactive flooring messages and HD television screens.

The cinema campaign, Royal Caribbean International’s first, will be supported by TV, national newspaper print, direct mail and online advertising.

Royal Caribbean International currently has 21 ships in service and one under construction.
