Having launched as the flagship of the all-new Quantum Ultra Class, Royal Caribbean’s newest addition – Spectrum of the Seas – has set sail with a 46-night Global Odyssey cruise from Barcelona to Shanghai, where she will homeport from June.
Following the already-amazing Quantum Class, featuring Quantum, Anthem of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas, Spectrum offers 4,246 guests a chance to set sail on the largest and most expensive ship in Asia.

The Ultimate Family Suite
Two stories of family-fun, perfect for large groups of family and friends! This spacious accommodation can fit up to eight guests, with two downstairs and then four in the kids’ room upstairs as well as two in the master suite. The room features a slide, board games, floor-to-ceiling LEGO wall, giant chalkboard, games consoles including an Xbox One and PS4, as well an 85″ HD TV for streaming moves with your own in-house popcorn maker!
SkyPad
This virtual reality experience takes Spectrum of the Seas to a whole new level – literally! Bounce over craters and compete in zero-gravity games while harnessed up and enjoying the view from above on this brand-new bungee trampoline experience.
Star Moment
A brand-new experience to Royal Caribbean is the Star Moment – a lively and energetic karaoke venue where family and friends can sing their favourite tunes like rockstars!
North Star
The North Star is now a signature attraction on some Royal Caribbean ships and it has been welcomed with open-arms on-board Spectrum of the Seas. Hop into this pod and soar into the sky reaching 300ft above sea level for spectacular views of both the ship and beyond.
Suites-Only Area
Spectrum of the Seas is also the first Royal Caribbean ship to feature an exclusive suites-only area. There are Golden and Silver suite accommodations in a private enclave at the forward end of the ship where guests have exclusive keycard access, a private elevator and a dedicated lounge and restaurant.
As well as this, guests can also enjoy a range of exclusive extras such as access to The Balcony – a private outdoor space perfect for sunbathing and relaxing with some of the best views on-board; and The Boutique – a shopping area where guests can browse in private.
Sichuan Red
A new speciality restaurant across all of Royal Caribbean’s fleet, Sichuan Red serves authentic cuisine from the Sichuan province of China. Guests can enjoy a range of spices and flavours while enjoying endless views for the whole table. This dining venue offers a whole feast of experiences for all on-board Spectrum.

Taking all the exciting wonders of the Quantum Class, Royal Caribbean has created the Ultra-Quantum Class with a flair of something a little extra, a little more ultra.
Spectrum of the Seas accommodates 4,246 guests at double occupancy and has 1,551 crew members on-hand to make your cruising experience unforgettable.
From June, Spectrum of the Seas will homeport in Shanghai and offer a plethora of new itineraries and ports such as Hakodate and Niigita in Japan; Ilocos in the Philippines; and Vladivostock, Russia. Come winter 2019, she will then reposition in Hong Kong for special holiday cruises.
