Situated in the southern Caribbean region, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a chain of islands comprising volcanic landscapes, chic harbours and white-sand beaches. St. Vincent is the main island, with the Grenadines surrounding it as a chain of 32 smaller islands such as Bequia and Mayreau.

Kingstown is the main port town of the island Saint Vincent which lies in the Caribbean Sea. Saint Vincent is a beautiful unspoilt island and boasts culture, history and charm. The island itself features a rainforest, picturesque valleys and a volcano. Whilst visiting Kingstown you can spend a few hours taking in the views at the Montreal Botanical Gardens, explore historical sites such as Fort Charlotte, hike to the top of the volcano La Soufriere, explore the coves around the island by snorkelling and diving or simply take some time out to unwind on the spectacular beaches. Whatever you choose to do you are sure to love the beauty of this fascinating island. You'll discover an array of shops, boutiques and market stalls in the heart of Kingstown's city. The boutiques are where you can buy unique clothes and accessories and the market stalls are the perfect place to sample the local produce with fresh fish, cheese, fruit and veg and wine. For a unique souvenir then make your way to the workshops in the city that sell grass rugs and hand-woven gifts. The local currency is the Caribbean Dollar.
