Not only do you get the thrilling on-board entertainment to enjoy, alongside quality dining in a range of venues, but the exciting excursions around this scenic part of the world help to create a fantastic cruise package.

All of the Alaska cruises that you can book with Disney Cruise Line depart from Vancouver on-board the Disney Wonder. The voyages are offered between the months of May and September, with a selection of itinerary lengths to choose from including the more common seven-night sailings and some nine-night cruises available to book.

The Disney Wonder is sleek and stylish, but most importantly it is a ship packed with fun activities and facilities for both adults and children. Live shows based around famous Disney stories, professionally-supervised youth clubs, numerous swimming pools, arcades and more all come together to ensure everyone is kept entertained and wowed throughout the cruise.

Every Alaska cruise with Disney Cruise Line is a return voyage, meaning you can easily plan your holiday from Vancouver, with our Cruise Concierge taking care of your flight bookings leaving you free to unwind with peace of mind.

There’s much to see and do when you arrive in the Alaskan ports on your cruise. Skagway is one of the most exciting, acting as the gateway to the Klondike where you’ll be able to learn much about the history of the Gold Rush era, and see many buildings lining the streets that hark back to this time. Take a trip on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad to experience what it was like as a miner on the hunt for gold, or simply explore the Historic Park which details many of the integral regions to the whole Gold Rush period.

The state capital of Juneau is another fascinating port to visit, where you can see the incredible beauty of the Mendenhall Glacier and the state museum, which details the history of the native peoples and the wildlife that you can enjoy. Take a ride on the Mount Roberts Tramway to experience views across the town, or see the salmon breeding when you visit the Macaulay Salmon Hatchery.

Some of the more intriguing sights are the totem pole parks in Ketchikan, offering collections of authentic totems that have been preserved, and are now displayed in an attractive setting. Ketchikan is also an excellent gateway to some of the natural landscapes of the region, where you can see local wildlife in their natural habitat including salmon, eagles and more.
