Even if you aren’t travelling with children, if you enjoy charming ships with an enjoyable atmosphere on-board, you’ll find these sailings to be right up your street.

If you’d like to know more about specifically the voyages in this region then read on.

Cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska are some of the more popular and you can find out about those by checking their own pages through the links on this page, but there are also sailings to the California Coast, and through the Panama Canal. All of these cruises take place on the Disney Wonder, able to accommodate 2,700 passengers in complete comfort with plenty of fun facilities on-board, along with some great themed dining venues.

If you want a short escape, you’ll find some great options, including a two-night cruise to nowhere which departs from San Diego, sails out to sea before returning. If you’ve only got a weekend spare and want to relax and try out some of the great features on-board, these are perfect. Other California Coast cruises remain fairly short, including four- and five-night sailings from Vancouver to San Diego or vice versa, with stops in either San Francisco or Victoria.

The Panama Canal cruises are much longer, each one lasting for either 14- or 15-nights between San Diego and Miami, with stops in numerous Mexican ports along with Cartagena in Colombia. These are the perfect holidays if you want to escape and see this amazing engineering landmark as well as have plenty of time with the family to unwind and spend some quality time together.

Cozumel is one of the more popular ports with both adults and children, a scenic island that’s great for water sports as well as being home to the Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park, protecting the natural coral reefs of the region. There’s also Puerto Vallarta, a breath-taking coastal city where you can try whale watching and swimming with dolphins, as well as interesting shopping for parents.

And of course Cartagena, a new port for Disney Cruise Line’s North America cruises, is where you’ll find beautiful historic architecture, including refurbished dungeons, fortresses and more from the days of piracy.
