There are 16 ships in the main fleet, as well as two smaller ships available for a more intimate experience. Every ship has on-board entertainment and activities as well as high quality dining to take care of your every need, so you can look forward to an excellent cruise regardless of which ship you´re on or where you´re headed.
All of the main Princess cruise ships in the fleet have clubs on-board for children and teenagers, except for the smaller ships Pacific Princess and Ocean Princess, which do run activities when more than 20 children are sailing. These two ships are more tailored for adults who are looking for a relaxed cruise holiday around the south Pacific, Alaska, Asia or Tahiti and Hawaii.

There are two ships in the Coral class, both built specifically to travel the Panama Canal. Island Princess is packed with all the many amazing features that Princess ships contain, as is the Coral Princess which also includes the signature Movies Under the Stars facility, a stunning poolside cinema with cushioned loungers that is available on the majority of ships in the fleet.
There are two ships based in Australia throughout the year, with sailings from Sydney and Fremantle to destinations around the region. Dawn Princess and Sun Princess are ideal for an authentic Australian experience. These ships are part of the Sun class along with a third, the Sea Princess, also based around the South Pacific with a range of locations visited.
The Grand class are the larger ships that travel to a wealth of destinations around the world. These all include a varied choice of restaurants and on-board activities to keep you active or entertained. The smaller of these are the Grand Princess, the Golden Princess and the Star Princess but these still have a great balcony to stateroom ratio and all features that are standard on-board Princess ships.
Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess are the two ships in the fleet to be built in Japan, and they include the same features that you´ll find on the Grand class ships such as The Sanctuary, a dedicated area of tranquillity for adults only.
The largest ships in the fleet are the Caribbean Princess, the Crown Princess, the Emerald Princess and the Ruby Princess, which are all capable of travelling with over 3,000 passengers and all have a huge amount of balconies to offer the best cruise possible.
Princess Cruises has announced plans to add to its growing fleet with a brand-new Royal Class ship, following on from the success of Royal and Regal Princess. The new ship will launch in 2017, accommodating up toi 3,560 guests and featuring facilities including the line's signature central atrium, Movies Under the Stars and an adults-only spa.
