The main street of Bridgetown is Broad Street and is the best place to find duty free shops, banks, department outlets, restaurants, cafes and bars. Pelican Village situated just outside the city is a shopping village offering a variety of glass art, textiles, handmade leather footwear, plus arts and crafts or you will find local produce at the open air market.
The currency used in Barbados is the Barbadian dollar. Barbados is 5 hours behind Greenwich meantime (GMT-5).
