Callao Cruises

Peru's main port, Puerto Del Callao, has a coastline that is blessed with fine beaches and crystal clear waters, Callao offers the perfect retreat. Besides Callao's beach, there are various landmarks here too. Perhaps the most prominent is the famous Fortaleza del Real Felipe (fortress) which played a significant part in the many battles for independence. A popular tourist attraction, it's now a museum run by Peru's army. You'll also come across monuments that celebrate the lives of leaders, such as Simon Bolivar and Miguel Maria Grau. Just 14km away, you'll discover the cosmopolitan city that is Lima which attracts visitors from all over the globe as Lima's historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Adorned with colonial Spanish mansions, charming churches and some remaining Inca ruins, Lima is quite the picturesque setting. The capital and largest city of Peru, Lima is definitely worth a visit.

La concepción Shopping Centre is located in Lima's town centre. This is where you can buy clothing, craft products, jewellery, gifts and souvenirs. You'll also come across a number of markets selling souvenirs, jewellery and handicrafts. You'll find the markets situated along Av. Petit Thouars in Miraflores, Lima.

The local currency is the Nuevo Sol. Puerto del Callao is 6 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT -6 hours).
