If you fancy a spot of shopping, the main shopping centres in Haifa include; ‘The Panorama Centre', ‘Migdal Haneve'im' and ‘The Horev Centre' which all offer a variety of shops where you can purchase a number of gifts including; clothes jewellery, shoes and bags. There are plenty of markets around Haifa too, where you can buy antiques, paintings and hand-made crafts. The nearest market is located in the lower city on ‘Kibbutz Galuyot Street'.
The local currency is the Shekel. Haifa is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich meantime (GMT +2).
