Hilo Cruises

Hilo is the largest settlement on the island of Hawaii. Hilo boasts a beautiful landscape with palm trees, rolling hills and crystal clear waters. The main reason people come to this untouched village is because it is the gateway to the Volcano National Park where you can come up and close with the volcano which lava is still flowing to this day. Another great attraction is the Akaka Falls State Park which is a tropical rainforest with a spectacular 442 ft waterfall, or you could simply spend your time taking a stroll down the Hilo marine front for beautiful views out to sea.

There are boutiques and market stalls in Hilo where you can purchase souvenirs including; clothes, jewellery, local arts, pottery, ceramics and traditional Hawaiian lays.

The currency in Hilo is the U.S Dollar (USD). Hilo is 11 hours behind Greenwich meantime (GMT-11).
