Whilst in Kusadasi you can take a tour to the ancient city of Ephesus and visit the Virgin Mary's house, take a trek to Pammukkale for panoramic views of the city and beyond, observe the nature up and close and Dilek National Park, shop to your heart's content in the towns Bazaar, or simply sit-back and enjoy the spectacular views from the waterfront.
Located just by the port there is a shopping centre called ‘Scala Nuova' where they sell designer clothes, jewellery, purses and handbags. The ‘Grand Bazaar' is home to carpets, jewellery, clothes, leather goods, spices and herbal tea. Kusadasi is home to three markets each selling a variety of fruit and vegetables, textiles and fresh produce.
The local currency is the Turkish lira. Kusadasi is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich meantime (GMT +2).
