You could take a gentle stroll along the scenic canals which dominate the city centre, visit one of many fantastic museums including Anne Frank House, the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum, or head out the explore the city and see it’s many historic landmarks and monuments. Seeing the Vøringsfossen waterfall is a must before leaving Eidfjord. With a fall of 182 metres, the water cascades from the Hardangervidda mountain plateau down into the Måbødalen valley. The well-known mountain farm of Kjeåsen is situated 600 metres above the Simadalsfjord.

And it’s no coincidence that Ålesund and the surrounding areas are among the most visited sites for tourists in Norway. Many use The Art Nouveau town as a starting point to explore the renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Geirangerfjord, the bird sanctuary island of Runde, or the spectacular snow-capped summits of the Hjørundfjord and the Sunnmørsalpene.

The deep blue UNESCO-protected Geirangerfjord is surrounded by majestic, snow-covered mountain peaks, wild waterfalls and lush, green vegetation.

A city on Norway’s southwestern coast. It’s surrounded by mountains and fjords, including Sognefjord, the country’s longest and deepest. Bryggen features colorful wooden houses on the old wharf, once a center of the Hanseatic League’s trading empire.

Disembark and transfer to the airport for your direct flight to Reykjavik.
