Fly overnight from the UK to Santiago
Day 1
The second largest city in Chile, Valparaiso is a beautiful port of call. As you sail into port you will come across Victorian mansions sitting on rolling hills, snow-capped mountains and a colourful harbour. In addition to the beautiful scenery, Valparaiso boasts a warm climate and beautiful beaches. During your time here you can not only spend a couple of hours relaxing under the warm sunshine on the beach, but you can visit the Naval Maritime Museum, take a stroll along the hillsides and discover the most spectacular panoramic views or visit the Cielo Abierto Museum where you can find a whole collection of fabulous artwork.

Day 2
Santiago is one of the largest cities in Latin America. Whilst you’re here, be sure to experience the best that this city has to offer. So a visit to ‘Plaza de Armas’ is a must. The historical heart of the city, here you can check out the grand Spanish colonial-style buildings, such as the ‘City Hall’, the ‘Post Office’ and Santiago’s finest church, the ‘Metropolitan Cathedral.’ Other notable attractions include ‘Castle Hidalgo’ and the fascinating ‘Museum of Pre-Columbian Art’ which is devoted to pre-Columbian exhibits. Wineries, national parks and ski areas are all within easy reach of the city too.

Day 3
Transfer to a 4-star hotel for a three night stay with breakfast. Enjoy a full day excursion seeing the monolithic statues of Rapa Nui (Easter Island) called moai which are sublimely beautiful works of art. Tall figures carved out of volcanic rock between the 11th and 14th centuries by Polynesian settlers. Rapa Nui is a tiny triangle just 14 miles long on its base and about seven miles wide. At each of its three corners stands an extinct volcano.

Day 6
Transfer to a 4-star hotel for a two night stay with breakfast. Surprising, cosmopolitan, energetic, sophisticated and worldly, Santiago is a city of syncopated cultural currents, madhouse parties, expansive museums and top-flight restaurants. No wonder 40 percent of Chileans call the leafy capital city home. With a growing economy, renovated arts scene and plenty of eccentricity to spare, Santiago is an old-guard city on the cusp of a modern-day renaissance.

Day 8
Valparaiso (Santiago de Chile) Only 70 miles northwest of capital Santiago, Valparaiso is Chile's main port and known for its bohemian, artistic vibe and lovely vistas. It's known for its steep funiculars and colourful, clifftop homes. La Sebastiana, the quirky former residence of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, is now a museum with far-reaching Pacific views.
Coquimbo (La Serena)
Day 9
La Serena has been undergoing something of a revolution in recent years. Clinging to the rocky hills of Península Coquimbo, the town has blossomed into the area's up-and-coming spot for nightlife. On top of its nighttime buzz, it's worth a trip for a wander around its beautifully restored 19th-century Barrio Inglés.
General San Martin (Pisco)
Day 12
Pisco is a city situated in the Ica Region of Peru. Pisco is a popular port of call and boasts a whole wealth of history, culture and charm. During your time in Pisco you can visit the Paracas National Reservation and see a whole host or marine wildlife and birds, take a Pisco city tour and visit the Baroque Iglesia de la Compañia, a church built in 1869 which features beautiful paintings, sculptures and detailed artwork. In addition to this the church is popular for its breathtaking gold-leaf altarpiece and exquisite carved pulpit. Whatever you choose to do you are sure to love your time here in Pisco.
Callao (Lima, overnight on-board)
Day 13
Lima, the capital of Peru, lies on the country’s arid Pacific coast. Though its colonial center is preserved, it’s a bustling metropolis and one of South America’s largest cities. It’s home to the Museo Larco collection of pre-Columbian art and the Museo de la Nación, tracing the history of Peru’s ancient civilizations.
Salaverry (Trujillo)
Day 15
Salaverry is a port of call for the city of Trujillo in Peru. Trujillo boasts a whole wealth of colonial charm which is clear to see with its churches, balconied houses and magnificent courtyards. Trujillo is known as ‘The City of Eternal Spring' due to its sunny and pleasant climate. During your time here you can explore the historical city of Chan-Chan which was built back in A.D. 1300, stroll around the Plaza de Armas which is a square in the centre of the city with many architectural sites to be seen. Whatever you choose to do you are sure to enjoy your time here in Salaverry.
Manta
Day 17
Manta Port is the gateway to the bustling and developing city of Manta in the Manaba Province of Ecuador. Manta ranks number five in Ecuador’s population and is considered the third most important city with its tuna fishing and processing industry in addition to tourism. Manta boasts diverse South American culture, beautiful beaches, colonial architecture and fine cuisine.
Fuerte Amador
Day 19
Fort Amador was one of the U.S. installations that guarded the southern end of the Panama Canal, just below the Bridge of the Americas. Today, the Amador area is a southern suburb of Panama City, gateway to the canal, and a travel destination in its own right.
Cruising Panama Canal
Day 20
One of the world's most impressive feats of engineering, the Panama Canal joins the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Panama Canal cruises usually call at several Caribbean cruise ports, as well as Panama City or Colon.
Georgetown
Day 22
George Town is the capital city of Grand Cayman which is the largest of the Cayman Islands. The island is extremely popular and with a whole wealth of culture and history coved within a natural beauty, it's not hard to see why. Whilst visiting this exotic island you can visit the 65-acre Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, take a walk along the National Trust Mastic Trail through unspoiled woodlands or unwind on some of the world's most beautiful beaches. There really is something for every visitor in this fascinating city.
