Norwegian Cruise Line Announces New Range of Dining Experiences

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced plans to overhaul its on-board dining experiences as part of the line’s exciting new Norwegian NEXT enhancement programme. Guests will enjoy a range of new regional culinary experiences and flexibility in Norwegian Cruise Line’s many fantastic dining venues, as the line lives up to its promise to bring new enhancements, experiences and transformations across its fleet.

The enhancements will include a number of new menus in the line’s mining dining rooms, including more variety and a wider selection of contemporary dishes. Regionally focused options will vary depending on the ship’s itinerary, offering guests a taste of authentic local culture and cuisine in each new port.

The new menus – which have been painstakingly developed by Norwegian Cruise Line’s culinary experts – will features a range of fresh options, starters, classic meals and main courses as well as chef’s speciality dishes and desserts, including up to 12 different starters and a choice of 15 entrees each evening. Guests will be able to order an array of dishes, including everything from classic favourites such as prime rib, rack of lamb and escargot, to new seafood additions such as sushi, barramundi and crab-based dishes. Other contemporary options will include Atlantic scallops with fennel puree, braised beef short ribs with Cajun shrimp and mojito shrimp ceviche.

Guests with a sweet-tooth will also enjoy Norwegian Cruise Line’s new Chocolate Night, when they can choose from seven different chocolate-based desserts in each of the line’s on-board eateries. These tempting sweets will range from warm chocolate volcanoes to white chocolate strawberry mouse and everything in between.

In another exciting twist, the line has also partnered with renowned mixologist Gabirel Orta of Bar Lab Cocktails based in Miami, to provide a fabulous range of tempting cocktails in the line’s shore side Test Bar.
