March 4th 2022 saw Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Wonder of the Seas make its debut with a maiden voyage in the Caribbean. Hailed as the world’s biggest cruise ship, it brings big adventures to the already award-winning Oasis class fleet measuring at a colossal 362m long and 64m wide. On Wonder of the Seas, guests will find eight distinct neighbourhoods, including the new ‘Suite Neighbourhood’, a new pool deck, new entertainment and a new Playscape – an underwater world with slides, climbing walls and games!

On-board this incredible ship there is something for everyone!

Something for Families

On Wonder of the Seas, there’s so much for families to do! Adventure Ocean – a dedicated play space for kids – provides tons of fun for youngsters, and well-deserved rest for parents. On the other hand, teens can sip mocktails at the uber-cool Social100 hangout. And when the family is all back together again, head to the ‘Playscape’ for awesome activities like climbing walls, slides and puzzles.

And there’s more where that came from! Put your figure skating skills to the test around the ice rink, try and get a hole in one at the Wonder Dunes mini golf course, or play classic vintage games at the arcade. Little ones will love the merry-go-round at the ‘Boardwalk!’ But for family fun like no other, why not book the Ultimate Family Suite – complete with its own slide, table tennis and air hockey.

For the thrill seekers, race down epic waterslides like the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest waterslide at sea, and Perfect Storm, a terrific trio of speedy slides. Then zoom over the Boardwalk on a zipline or tackle the 12-metre rock climbing wall. Finish up by riding the waves on the Flow Rider surf simulator – there’s so much to get your adrenaline pumping on Wonder of the Seas!

Something for Grown Ups

As we’ve mentioned, Wonder of the Seas boasts the ultra-luxurious adults-only Solarium, but that’s not the only great area for adults on-board! Try your luck at the Casino or play poker in the card room. And if you really want to channel sophistication, you can attend a Park Gallery Art Auction.

If you enjoy a tipple, you’ll be glad to hear that Wonder of the Seas is brimming with other fabulous bars. Refreshing poolside beverages can be found at the Lime and Coconut, whilst Mexican themed drinks can be found at Cantina Fresca. At the bionic bar, your cocktails will be made by robotic bartenders, whilst at the Schooner Bar you can sing along as the piano plays. But if you’re on the hunt for a bar with a twist, head to the Rising Tide Bar which rises up and down levels of the ship slowly as you sip your drink!

The Vitality Spa is the perfect place to relax and indulge. You can enjoy pampering treatments like acupuncture, facials, massages, manicures and teeth whitening.

If you’re looking for somewhere to chill out after your spa treatment, the adult’s only Solarium is ideal. It’s available only to passengers aged sixteen and over, and it includes soothing whirlpools and a peaceful lounge area.

Dining

On the biggest ship in the world, you can be sure of one thing – foodies will never run out of dining options! There is plenty to eat on-board whether you are after fine-dining or a quick bite. Enjoy fresh Mexican food at El Loco, juicy steak at Chops Grille, delicious sushi at Izumi or yummy pizza at Sorrentos

Vitality Café provides a healthy option and Park Café is perfect for a deli lunch. At Hooked, you can eat mouthwatering seafood, or if you want a bit of everything, head to Windjammer where you’ll find a brilliant variety buffet of global cuisine. And for a meal that’s a little more outside of the box, head to Wonderland for imaginative dishes based on the five elements!

Izumi Hibachi & Sushi (japanese restaurant)

This ship has also introduced a brand new restaurant; The Mason Jar Southern Bar & Restaurant, where Southern comfort food meets Royal Caribbean’s hospitality. The menu features Southern staples as well as modern twists on classic comfort food serving up over brunch, dinner and late-night eats.

Evening Entertainment

Aqua Theatre

Every night is one to remember on Wonder of the Seas – from entertainment like no other, to cocktail recipes you will take back home to enjoy with friends.

Introducing the new AquaTheatre, featuring 9-metre diving platforms and dramatic views you can catch some of the most incredible shows out here on the deck, always provides edge-of-your-seat excitement! 365: The Seasons on Ice is a beautifully choreographed skating spectacular which is worth the watch! You can sing your heart out at the Spotlight Karaoke Bar, have a giggle at Comedy Live or dance the night away at Bolero’s Latin club.

Cabins

As with every other Royal Caribbean ship, the rooms on-board are awe-inspiring. After soaking up all of the activities and entertainment this new ship has to offer you can retire to your room with some of the best views and incredible amenities.
