“When I shared news of my upcoming Alaska & Rocky Mountaineer holiday earlier this year, everyone told me GoldLeaf is the only way to experience Rocky Mountaineer and they were right! Panoramic views with full glass dome windows, superior food, drink and service all synonymous with the brand is a truly spectacular way to travel through the Canadian Rockies and witness the truly breath-taking scenery (which pictures do not do justice to)! It was a fabulous and unique experience, made all the more incredible alongside an Alaskan cruise from Vancouver.
My highlights would have to include trying the crab and lobster at the Vancouver Fish Company, as well as staying at the Fairmont Hotel here for a great location in central downtown. Also, book your excursion to the Hubbard Glacier as soon as you can as this is the only way to get up close to this fascinating feat of nature that is even more incredible during this intimate experience. As for wildlife lovers, don’t miss whale watching and bear spotting in Ketchikan, perfect when visiting between May and September months.”
