Rock Sound

Rock Sound is a town known for its pristine beaches, sparkling blue waters, spectacular views and colourful island buildings. There is a selection of excursions to Rock Sound which you can book with Princess Cruises where you can also visit the bat caves or head to the Ocean Hole – a bottomless underwater formation popular with divers.

Outdoor adventures

For something a bit more exciting, you could opt for a dune buggy adventure and cultural heritage tour in South Eleuthera, travelling back roads past Bannerman Town to the ruins of the Anglican Church of the Assumption, ending back at the Princess Cays’ gates. Dune buggy adventures start from $169.95.

Or why not enjoy a glass-bottom boat cruise to view the tropical marine life of Eleuthera. Take a peek at rainbow-hued fish, pristine coral reefs and more through large glass windows on this experience. You could even meet with stingrays on an animal encounter, where you’re supervised by experienced guides and divers to feed and interact with these graceful creatures. Drinks and dining at Princess Cays

There are plenty of places to sit down to lunch or enjoy an ice-cold drink during your time on Princess Cays.

There are a few buffets at the port which serve barbeque burgers, hotdogs, salads and fruit, which are included in your visit. This area opens from 11,30am until 1.30pm.

As for drinks, there are plenty of bars to stop and enjoy a drink including those on the main beachside: Coconuts, Palm Grove, Bahia Bar and Banana Beach Bar. Drinks packages can be used here if you have purchased one on-board your Princess Cruises ship, meaning you only need to take your ship card on the island!
