Starring in this year’s Mediterranean sailings for Royal Caribbean, Jewel of the Seas will be one of the key ships playing a part in the cruise line’s return to cruise.
Launched in 2004, Jewel of the Seas offers 13 decks of entertainment, but what are the top ten must-do activities? We’ve picked our favourites below!
1. Ten-storey Glass Centrum
The glass centrum aboard the Jewel of the Seas offers a diverse range of entertainment. From a number of dining facilities to nighttime entertainment, including aerial performances and shows, as well as daytime programmes suitable for all the family, this area has it all! Spanning across nine decks with stunning panoramic sea views, this area makes the Jewel of the Seas unique to any other!
2. Coral Theatre
If you are looking for theatre production entertainment the Coral Theatre offers both contemporary and Broadway-inspired shows, as well as headline musicals and live comedy! Spanning three decks, this wide selection of stage entertainment runs at set times throughout the day and night, with something to suit all ages.
3. The Pool Deck
Looking to relax? The Jewel of the Seas Pool Deck is the perfect place for everyone to have some chilled time. Lounge chairs and towels are provided around the pool and whirlpools, whilst also having access to blockbuster movies and international sporting events displayed on the new outdoor cinema screen, from your own lounger or the pool!
4. Adventure Beach
For kids, Adventure Beach is the perfect area to release some energy on the slide, and within the pool facilities provided. Families can explore this fun-filled area, as well as relax on the deckchairs provided whilst the kids play throughout the day!
5. Dining
Why not try a number of the dining facilities on-board? From the Chef’s Table Steakhouse to Italian, Japanese, or café style cuisine, Jewel of the Seas offers a broad range of dining options worth diving into. Not forgetting to mention the Main Dining Room, which spans across two decks with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing the most perfect views from the dining locations.
6. Adults-only Solarium
Looking to escape from the action? Adults can relax within the tropical paradise of the Solarium, created to mirror the Balinese culture through artwork, lush tropical gardens and the beautiful Temple Gate Falls structure, providing the perfect serene environment.
7. Rock-climbing Wall
Another unique feature on-board Jewel of the Seas is the rock-climbing wall for the thrill seekers. This impressive feature on-board the ship will allow bragging rights for whoever takes on the challenge!
8. Casino Royale
For the adults on-board, this exciting casino offers games such as roulette, blackjack, poker and a range of slot machines. All abilities are welcome as a result of lessons, games and tournaments all taking place within Casino Royale, so come and test your strategies!
9. Viking Crown Lounge Bar
There are a number of bars available on-board Jewel of the Seas to enjoy your favourite beverage, however none like the Viking Crown Lounge Bar! This bar location offers stunning panoramic views from a glass lounge, located on the top deck. There is no wonder it is Royal Caribbean’s signature bar!
10. Vitality Spa
Finally, the Vitality Spa. This luxury spa provides a range of services and relaxation treatments, located in the newly renovated Vitality Spa & Fitness Centre. The salon, located within the spa area, offers haircuts, styling, manicures, pedicures, and teeth whitening. Visit Vitality Spa for massages, reflexology, facials, body wraps and acupuncture. This facility encompasses the perfect ‘treat yourself’ to do.
