Cruise excursions are the perfect way to find out more about the ports on your itinerary. From a visit to the stunning Vatican in Rome to a day-long tour of cultural Berlin, there are countless excursions on offer throughout every trip.

If you aren’t entirely sure how cruise excursions work, here are few things to know before making a booking.

You could save some money

We are going to let you in on a little secret… if you book excursions with us rather than the cruise line itself, you could save up to 60 per cent! We use the same local guides as the cruise lines, too, so you aren’t losing out.

You don’t have to pay upfront

If you want to space out your cruise holiday payments, you will be pleased to know that you don’t have to pay the full cost of your excursions at once. Book your dream trips in advance to secure your spot, and we’ll give you a due date for your final payment.

You can experience local life

All of the guides who lead excursions on our cruises are English-speaking locals. Their knowledge of the area is unmatched by any guide book; full of fascinating facts, quirky local history and hidden treasures. It won’t be long until their stories have you completely immersed in each port and you feel like you are living like a local.

You will be treated to special service

Did you know we have a dedicated number for passengers wanting to discuss excursions and manage excursion bookings? Simply call our dedicated Ancillary Sales team on 0800 316 2469.

This number will put you straight through to our separate team of excursion experts, meaning you  can speak to a knowledgeable team member whose day is devoted to helping you get the most from each port.

Joining an excursion is easy

When it is time to hop off your cruise ship and enjoy your excursion, there is no need to take lots of paperwork with you. Once you have booked an excursion we will send you an excursion ticket, and if you book a few at once, we will send all of your tickets in one bundle. Simply use your ticket when it’s excursion time.

It couldn’t be simpler to get more out of each port on your cruise. Offering the opportunity to explore iconic sights, live like a local for the day and take part in once-in-a-lifetime experiences, excursions afford memories you and your loved ones will treasure forever.

Call our Cruise Concierge 0808 1234 118 for advice on your cruising excursions and any questions you may have.

    Hi,
We are booked on the Fred Oleson Cruise ship Boudicca sailing from Limassol, Cyprus on 5/3/20 & returning to Dover on 19/3/20 & would like to pre-book shore excursions with you.
One of us is disabled & will not be able to go on many of the excursions so we would like more information on your Multi-port shore excursions packages for £69 per person for 3, 4 & 5-day excursions.
    Our Cruise is from 5/3/20-19/3/20.
    Thank you,
    Mr & Mrs Wheeler
