Beautiful Beaches and Scenic Shorelines around the World

Beaches around the world

Summer is well underway and people around the world are putting on their best bikini or swimming shorts and heading to the beach. Unfortunately for us, the UK is unlikely to maintain a climate suitable for relaxing by the coast – but don’t worry – as there is still time to make the most of our summer sale, so why not get away from it all and head to sunnier climes this year? On a cruise getaway, you could sail to a range of stunning ports, where the relaxing beach vibes lie at the heart of local culture. Read on to learn more about some of our favourite beach destinations around the world.

Antigua, Caribbean

The idyllic Caribbean island of Antigua boasts a plethora of immaculate, unspoilt beaches – 365 to be exact; one for every day of the year! There is almost too much choice when it comes to unwinding by the coast in Antigua, with a beach for every preference, from secluded stretches of tranquil coastline to bustling beaches lined with tourist-centric shops, bars and eateries.

Scuba diving is especially popular along Antigua’s scenic shoreline, as the crystal clear waters that surround the island are filled with colourful reefs and tropical fish. Snorkelling is also a great way to observe this underwater wonderland and there are plenty of places to rent out the necessary gear.
