Cruise lines across the world have suspended operations and altered many future sailings due to the ongoing global crisis. We have compiled a complete list of cruise lines which have currently paused their operations and the dates when they plan to resume sailings.
The below is subject to change and will be updated as additional information is available. Last updated 30th September 2020.

Azamara
All sailings suspended until 31st October 2020. Azamara Quest voyages on November 4th and November 14th 2020 and Azamara Pursuit voyages until 31st December have also been suspended.
Carnival Cruise Line
Selected sailings cancelled including:
- All San Francisco sailings suspended through 2020
- All Carnival Splendor sailings suspended until 7th January 2021
- All Carnival Spirit sailings suspended until 16th May 2021
- All Carnival Sunrise sailings suspended until 19th October 2020; including selected Miami sailings until April 2022
- All Carnival Legend sailings suspended until 30th October 2020
- All Carnival Radiance sailings suspended until 1st November 2020; including selected sailings until April 2022
- All Mardi Gras sailings suspended from 14th November 2020 until 30th January 2021
- All Carnival Magic sailings from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale sailings suspended until 6th March 2021; all Carnival Magic transatlantic and Barcelona sailings suspended from 10th April 2021 until 3rd May 2021
- All Carnival Fascination sailings suspended until 9th January 2022
- All Carnival Sensation sailings suspended between 3rd March 2022 and 7th March 2022
- All Carnival Breeze sailings from Fort Lauderdale suspended from 7th November 2020 until 7th March 2021
- All Carnival Imagination and Carnival Inspiration sailings suspended until 19th April 2021
- All Carnival Valor sailings suspended until 24th April 2021
- All Carnival Paradise sailings suspended until 22nd February 2021
- All other ship sailings suspended until 31st October 2020
Celebrity Cruises
Global sailings suspended until 31st October. Selected cruises sailing to Canada, Alaska, Canada & New England, and Hawaii – as well as a few repositioning cruises – are also cancelled until 31st October 2020 due to the Government of Canada’s decision to extend its restrictions on cruise ships carrying more than 100 guests.
Celebrity Cruises has also suspended all cruises departing from Australia and New Zealand until 31st December 2021.
Celestyal Cruises
All sailings suspended until 6th March 2021.
Cruise & Maritime Voyages
All sailings are cancelled as the cruise line has entered administration as of 20th July 2020.
Crystal Cruises
Due to temporary closures of European ports, all Crystal Symphony cruises are suspended until 23rd October 2020 and all Crystal Serenity have also been suspended until 22nd October 2020.
All yacht cruises on-board Crystal Esprit are cancelled until 9th January 2021. The construction of Crystal Endeavor has also been suspended and the ship’s remaining 2020 itineraries have been cancelled until the MV Werften is fully operational. The cruise line has cancelled all January 2021 voyages aboard Crystal Endeavor.
Cunard Cruises
Selected sailings cancelled until at least 25th March 2021:
- Queen Elizabeth sailings suspended until 25th March 2021
- Queen Mary 2 sailings suspended until 18th April 2021
- Queen Victoria sailings suspended until 16th May 2021
Disney Cruise Line
Selected sailings cancelled until at least 31st October 2020:
- Disney Magic departures are suspended until 12th December 2020
- Disney Wonder and Disney Dream departures suspended until 11th December 2020
- Disney Fantasy departures are suspended until 6th December 2020
Fred. Olsen
A selection of sailings have been suspended, including:
- All Balmoral and Black Watch sailings until 22nd December 2020
- All Braemar sailings until 20th March 2021
- All Boudicca’s Grand Voyage sectors suspended until 11th March 2021
Holland America Line
All sailings suspended until 15th December 2020.
Additional departures for Canada from the port of Vancouver, as well as select Hawaii 2021 itineraries have also been suspended until 2nd February 2021 at the latest.
The cruise line has also announced four ships will be leaving the fleet in 2020 including Amsterdam, Maasdam, Rotterdam and Veendam. All sailings on these ships are cancelled, with some selected itineraries assumed by other ships in the fleet.
Hurtigruten
Selected sailings suspended until December 2020.
MSC Cruises
Selected sailings cancelled including:
- Mediterranean and Caribbean sailings suspended until 31st October 2020
- Northern European sailings suspended until the end of the summer 2020 season, affecting cruises scheduled to depart until 23rd October 2020
- Canada & New England sailings suspended until 31st October 2020
- Asia sailings on-board MSC Bellissima have been suspended until 26th October 2020
Norwegian Cruise Line
All sailings suspended until 31st October 2020.
Oceania Cruises
All sailings suspended on-board Regatta, Nautica, Marina, Riviera, and Sirena until 30th October 2020 and all voyages on-board Insignia suspended until 10th November 2020.
P&O Cruises
A selection of sailings have been suspended, including:
- All Caribbean sailings suspended until January 2021
- All cruises to and from Southampton suspended until February 2021, excluding previously cancelled Arcadia and Aurora sailings
- All other sailings cancelled until early 2021
Princess Cruises
Selected sailings suspended throughout 2020:
- All cruises sailing in and out and Australia on Majestic Princess, Regal Princess, Sapphire Princess, Sea Princess, and Sun Princess are suspended until 31st October 2020
- All sailings in Asia, the Caribbean, California Coast, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal, South America & Antarctica, Japan, and Tahiti/South Pacific are suspended until December 15th 2020
- All remaining Alaska cruises on Emerald Princess and Ruby Princess
- All remaining Europe and Transatlantic cruises on Enchanted Princess, Regal Princess, Sky Princess, Crown Princess, and Island Princess
- All cruises in and out of Vancouver and Seattle in September and October on Coral Princess, Emerald Princess, Grand Princess, Royal Princess, Ruby Princess and Star Princess
Princess Cruises has also revealed Sun Princess and Sea Princess will be leaving the fleet, with the following sailings also cancelled:
- Sun Princess sailings from 28th December 2020 to 14th August 2021
- Sea Princess sailings from 23rd December 2020 to 9th November 2021
Regent Seven Seas Cruises
All sailings suspended until 31st October 2020, as well as all 2020 Canada & New England sailings, and the 2021 World Cruises. All cruises aboard Seven Seas Mariner will also be suspended until April 2021.
Royal Caribbean
Selected sailings suspended throughout 2020:
- All Canadian sailings are suspended until 31st October 2020
- All European and Transatlantic sailings are suspended until 30th November 2020
- Odyssey of the Seas sailings between 5th November 2020 and 17th April 2021 are cancelled
- Liberty of the Seas planned amplification has been postponed and will now sail from Galveston earlier than scheduled. As a result, Jewel of the Seas sailing from Galveston on 14th February 2021 is now cancelled
- Australia sailings are suspended until 31st December 2020
- All remaining sailings suspended until 31st October 2020
Saga Cruises
All Spirit of Discovery sailings are suspended until 16th December 2020 and all Spirit of Adventure sailings are suspended until 5th November 2020.
Seabourn
Selected sailings suspended until 6th November 2020 at the latest:
- All Seabourn Odyssey sailings suspended until 5th December 2020
- All Seabourn Sojourn sailings suspended until 24th May 2021
- All Seabourn Quest sailings suspended until 10th May 2021
- All Seabourn Encore sailings suspended until 6th January 2021
- All Seabourn Ovation sailings suspended until 3rd January 2021
Silversea
Selected sailings suspended until the following dates:
- All Silver Cloud sailings suspended until 1st December 2020
- All Silver Wind sailings suspended until 14th June 2021
- All Silver Shadow sailings suspended until 4th December 2020
- All Silver Spirit sailings suspended until 1st December 2020
- All Silver Muse sailings suspended until 20th December 2020
- All Silver Whisper sailings suspended until 9th December 2020
- All Silver Explorer sailings suspended until 21st December 2020
- All Silver Dawn sailing suspended until 9th November 2021
- All Silver Moon sailings suspended until 8th December 2020
- All Silver Origin sailings suspended until 5th December 2020
Star Clippers
All Royal Clipper and Star Clipper sailings are suspended until 7th November 2020 and all Star Flyer sailings are suspended until 5th December.
Virgin Voyages
All sailings suspended until 31st October 2020.
Windstar Cruises
All 2020 sailings now suspended, with a view to return to safe travel in 2021.
