Yes. There are many ports of call in the Caribbean which require vaccinations.
The main injections for a Caribbean cruise include Hepatitis B and Tetanus, though these are advisory rather than required. You may also need a yellow fever certification, depending on whether you have visited risk areas.
It’s always best to speak with your GP about your upcoming cruise itinerary to discuss health risks and where there may be additional measures to consider.

Hi I am traveling to the Caribbean on a Cruise, vising St Kitts, Antigua St, Lucia and Barbardos. I have asked my surgery for the vaccinations but the nurse said i dont need any. Shall i book appointment with the doctors and ask him?
Hi Talli, if you take a look at the official Caribbean tourism website here, the site advises that vaccinations are not required to visit most Caribbean destinations. However, it's probably best to check with your GP about the specific islands before travelling. Hope this helps. Thanks, Emma.
Check websites and online travel advice. Your doctor will only use the same sources.
Hi I’m getting confused we are travelling from London to Miami to pick up a cruise, do we need vaccines for Belsize Honduras?
Hi Sue, if you visit the NHS Fit for Travel site on www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk - you can find the information you need there on visiting Belize. I've just had a quick look at can see it advises all primary courses and boosters need to be up-to-date. We would always recommend talking with your GP about your upcoming trips to discuss vaccination requirements. Thanks, Emma.
My husband & myself are going on a Caribbean cruise in February. Some forms recommend we have the hepatitis A vaccination. We both had the vaccination in 2005. Do we need another one now.
Hi Roslyn, Some places in the Caribbean advise for certain vaccinations, Hepatitis A being one of them. I'd recommend speaking to your GP about the destinations you are planning to visit throughout your itinerary and confirming with them which vaccinations you need. Thanks, Emma.
