P&O Cruises has announced plans to introduce a number of high street brands aboard Britannia, offering guests the chance to enjoy a unique boutique shopping experience at sea. The ship will feature an impressive 720 square metres of retail space from March 2015, with a wide range of contemporary retailers alongside P&O Cruises’ long-standing brands.
One of the popular British fashion brands set to feature on-board is Crew Clothing, whose luxury casual wear is a favourite with celebrities including Ben Fogle and Kate Middleton. The White Company will also have retail space on-board in which to sell their high-quality garments which include super-soft hoodies, t-shirts and joggers. Guests will also be able to purchase the wares of Spanish clothing brand Desigual, whose distinctive patchwork designs and imaginative graffiti art are highly sought-after in the world of fashion.
For designer watches, jewellery and accessories, passengers can browse famous shops including world-famous Swiss company Chopard and family-owned British business Beaverbrooks who specialise in luxury accessories and diamond products. CEO of Beaverbrooks Anna Blackburn commented: “We are delighted to be working with Britannia, which is one of the most prestigious ships in the world. This is our first partnership in the world of cruising and we are looking forward to a successful ongoing relationship.”
P&O Cruises’ marketing director Christopher Edgington also commented on the introduction of this brand-new shopping experience aboard the Britannia, saying: “We are constantly looking to increase the choice that we offer guests in our on-board shops and are delighted to have gained the support of a number of iconic brands wanting to be part of the Britannia experience. Our guests love to indulge in a bit of retail therapy and they’re sure to appreciate the exciting new additions to the shopping line-up.”
A host of exciting brands have already been confirmed to feature aboard Britannia. For clothing and accessories, guests will also be able to purchase goods from Joules, Ralph Lauren, Radley, Fiorrelli, Harrods, Michael Kors, Fossil, Ribkoff, Armani Jeans Bags and The White Company. As well as Chopard and Beaverbrooks, watches and jewellery will be available from Omega, Citizen, Tag Heur, Raymond Weil, Longines, Tissot, Carat London, Pandora, Swarovski, Italina, Clogau, Buckley London and Audrey Hepburn. Those looking for beauty and bath products will find a fabulous selection of luxurious retailers such as Lancôme, Chanel, Dior, Clarins, Benefit, Gucci, Calvin Klein, GHD and Rituals.
