I’m cruising to Venice in July. How much do the gondolas cost?

venice-gondola

The gondolas in Venice operate on a fixed tariff. A standard 40-minute daytime tour costs 80 euro. There is a charge of 40 euro for each additional 20 minutes. An evening standard tour costs 100 euro, with a charge of 50 euro for each additional 20 minutes. In any instance, there is a maximum of 6 people allowed per gondola, so the more people in your gondola, the cheaper it will be. Many cruise lines offer gondola rides as part of their Venice shore excursions, so it’s worth checking with your cruise line as to what’s available.
