Say hello to the robotic bartenders at Royal Caribbean’s Bionic Bar

Robotic bartenders at the Bionic Bar

Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Class ships, Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas, due to launch in November 2014 and April 2015 respectively, have been generating a lot of buzz and excitement in the world of cruising with their new and innovative attractions, which include firsts at sea and state-of-the-art technology such as the RipCord skydiving simulator and SeaPlex entertainment complex. The ship’s latest feature, however, really steals the show when it comes to futuristic features.

The line’s Quantum Class vessels will each feature a Bionic Bar, where guests can place their drink orders using a custom-built tablet device and then watch as the venue’s groundbreaking robotic bartenders mix their chosen cocktail. In short, the Bionic Bar will blend impressive robotics and precise mixology to astound and delight.

Commenting on the line’s Quantum Class innovations, Managing Director of Royal Caribbean Stuart Leven said, “The new technologies make things possible at sea that could never have been done before. The robot bartenders…are complete game-changers for the industry and we’re confident that guests will be blown away when they step onboard.”

Suites and staterooms aboard Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Class ships are in high demand, so to secure your place on-board before it’s too late, call our experienced Cruise Concierge team on 0808 1234 118 or book online at Cruise118.com.
