Could you tell me each cruise line’s up to date policy on smoking at shows or entertainment facilities please?
All the cruise lines operate a policy on smoking whereby passengers are only permitted to smoke in certain areas of the ship, in many cases, outside on deck. However, here’s a run-down of the lines which offer indoor smoking in entertainment facilities.
Carnival Cruises – You can smoke in the ships’ dance clubs and in designated areas of the casino. The jazz clubs on board the following ships also permit smoking: Carnival Destiny, Carnival Triumph, Carnival Victory, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Pride, Carnival Legend, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Glory, Carnival Valor, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Freedom, and Carnival Splendor.
Celebrity Cruises – You are permitted to smoke in the port side of the Sunset bar on the line’s Millennium class vessels and on the Celebrity Century.
Cunard – You can smoke in Churchill’s Cigar Lounge, but not if you’re a cigarette smoker. Cigarette smokers are permitted to smoke in the top level of the G32 nightclub on-board the Queen Mary II.
Holland America Line – There are designated areas in most indoor public areas, though not in the restaurants or in the show lounge during performances.
MSC Cruises – You can smoke in the cigar rooms, the casinos and a dedicated smoking lounge.
Norwegian Cruise Line – You’re permitted to smoke in the cigar bars and casinos.
Princess Cruises – You can smoke in Churchill’s Cigar Lounge and dedicated areas of the disco and casino.
Royal Caribbean – There is a designated public lounge on each ship for smoking.
