We are stopping at Spitzbergen in June. Are there any choices of excursions?

It depends which type of cruise ship you are sailing on. The bigger cruise ships don’t tend to offer any excursions, and will simply give you free time to explore the town that you’ll call at. If you choose one of the smaller ships you may have a choice of excursions, including hikes across the tundra or whale-spotting.

She loves sea days and had been known to skip port visits to spend more time on the ship!
