Sail Beyond Your Imagination With Cirque du Soleil At Sea

MSC Cruises and Cirque du Soleil have held a close partnership since 2013, when Pierfrancesco Vago – the line’s Executive Chairman – had the vision to take the entertainment offered on-board to the next level. It was only natural that the choice came to introduce the world-class leaders in live performances, Cirque du Soleil.

The shows are offered exclusively aboard three of MSC Cruises’ ships: MSC Meraviglia, MSC Bellissima and MSC Grandiosa, and each ship has its own performances for their guests. Taking place six nights a week, the shows take place in the multi-million euro, custom-made entertainment and dining venue, the Carousel Lounge. Guests can even enjoy dinner and a cocktail pre-show before experiencing Cirque du Soleil at Sea.

There are two original shows to enjoy on-board MSC Meraviglia: SONOR and VIAGGIO

SONOR

This is an auditory adventure with dancers, acrobats and charcters all moving to the rhythm. Conjuring a world of sensations, sounds, bold music and immersive projections, it culminates in a grand finale for the senses.

VIAGGIO

Presenting a story of a passionate and eccentric artist who hears the call of his faceless muse, we see him beckoned into the vivid world of unbridled imagination. With electrifying colours, rich textures and majestic acts, watch a masterpiece come to life.

There are two original shows to watch on-board MSC Bellissima: SYMA – Sail Beyond Imagination and VARÉLIA – Love In Full Colour

SYMA – Sail Beyond Imagination

Brimming with imagination, this show takes you on the journey of a young sailor. Throughout his bold expedition, he braves the elements and discovers mysterious islands which are populated by colourful creatures. With immersive video images, an original set design, bioluminescent lighting and acrobatic feats, it’s an unforgettable show.

VARÉLIA – Love In Full Colour

Offering a futuristic twist on a traditional medieval tale, this tells the story of an unconventional courtship between a princess with distinctive violet skin and a charming hero who is blind. Thwarted by a villain who kidnaps the royal, the tale follows the brave hero as he rescues his beloved.

Prepare to fire up the senses and experience a breathtaking voyage as you travel across the galaxy with a brave cosmonaut on a quest for self-discovery. Feel your emotions go into hyper speed as you blast of into the great unknown and discover what makes you shine!
