Royal Caribbean’s second ship in the groundbreaking Quantum Class, Anthem of the Seas, is set to grace the UK with her return in 2020, leaving New York for the shores of Southampton.
Anthem returns to the UK
Ben Bouldin, Royal Caribbean’s UK and Ireland Managing Director said:
“I’m delighted to announce that the UK will see Anthem of the Seas returned to Southampton, and that will go on sale on the 20th of November. We’re thrilled to have her back.”
Since joining the fleet in 2015, Anthem has been some sort of an emblem for Royal Caribbean’s Southampton offering – she even started her maiden voyage from Southampton on an eight-night cruise to Europe. She continued her maiden season with a number of sailings from Southampton to the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Canaries.
2015 was sadly the last year Anthem of the Seas would be based in the UK, after which time she set sail for the Caribbean and Bermuda, as well as Canada and New England.
Now, we can look forward to experiencing this ship once more from our doorstep as she is returning to Southampton in 2020.
