Are there internet cafes on board ships?

Today, all cruise ships offer internet facilities, apart from a number of the smaller non-luxury expedition vessels. Most of the larger ships have dedicated internet cafes, or internet areas within their on-board libraries. If they don’t, there are always Wi-Fi hotspots on-board which enable internet access. Cruise ships use a satellite signal, which though convenient, will always be slower than the land connection you will be used to at home. Ship-board connection can be costly too, so to save money always book one of the ship’s internet packages or access the internet while docked or ashore.
