Can I bring my own booze on-board?
Alcohol policy differs depending on which cruise line you travel with, though most lines will allow you to bring one bottle of wine or champagne on-board per passenger, for consumption in your stateroom. If you decide you want to drink your wine elsewhere, for example in a bar or restaurant, you will be charged a corkage fee by the line, which can be anything from 10 – 25 dollars. There are few lines which allow you to bring other forms of alcohol on-board, such as Disney, which permits liquor and beer to be brought on-board for stateroom consumption and P&O Cruises, which allows passengers to bring their own alcohol, but reserves the right to confiscate it if they deem you’re bringing too much on-board.
