Celebrity Cruises unveils new restaurants on-board Edge

Magic Carpet on-board Celebrity Edge

Following the announcement of the innovative new cruise ship, Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Cruises has revealed the exceptional dining which guests can experience on-board.
From mouth-watering seafood to inspiring interactive table-tops, see what to expect when you step on-board this revolutionary cruise ship.

Four main dining restaurants

There are four main dining venues to choose from when booking, as well as a choice of dining package: Traditional Dining or Celebrity Select Dining Plus. Both packages offer full flexibility in any of the main restaurants, including the time of dining and even your waiter.

Across the four main venues, guests can select from three menu options; Classic, Signature and Exclusive. Classic and Signature feature the same dishes served in each of the restaurants, however, Signature features individual dishes inspired by the restaurants themselves, and which are only available in that specific venue.

The main restaurants include Cosmopolitan and Cyprus, both situated on deck 4. Cosmopolitan serves global American cuisine, with Cyprus offering a fusion of Greek and Mediterranean – a homage to Celebrity Cruise line’s heritage.

On deck 3, guests can find main restaurants Normandie and Tuscan. Normandie offers contemporary French cuisine, whereas Tuscan serves southern Italian-inspired dishes. Each of these main restaurants can accommodate around 340 diners.

Stunning speciality restaurants

For guests looking for a little extra glamour, there is a wide range of speciality restaurants available on-board Celebrity Edge.

Fine Cut Steakhouse offers guests the chance to dine outside, with 32 covers available for outdoor seating. This is a contemporary luxury steakhouse offering high-end, city-style décor with a menu to match. Another outdoor delight is the Rooftop Garden, serving gourmet barbecue favourites to 64 diners.

Raw on 5 will satisfy seafood lovers as it offers anything from lobster and sashimi to sushi and oysters, all prepared by expert sushi chefs.

The Magic Carpet (the world’s first cantilevered, floating platform), also joins Raw on 5 when stationary on deck 5, where guests can be seated in the unique venue while sampling the menu. However, once the Magic Carpet reaches deck 16, ‘Dinner on the Edge’ welcomes guests to experience dishes crafted with local ingredients, inspired by the destinations on your cruise.

Le Grand Bistro invites you to a whole other dining experience, with interactive and unforgettable moments. Diners are seated at specially designed tables, where you can watch as your meal is prepared before your very eyes. Feast your eyes on the innovative and unique journey, as an animated character slices and dices food on your plate in front of you!

Eden is another iconic restaurant, designed to be a ‘room that lives’. This is a dinner-only venue where guests can enjoy a contemporary, fine-dining sensory experience. The venue brings the outside in, with more outward facing windows in a cruise ship restaurant than anywhere else, allowing you to experience the wonder of incredible dining with exceptional performances from the cruise line’s Edenists.

We can’t wait to find out more about this stunning cruise ship as time draws closer to Celebrity Edge’s maiden voyages in November. She begins by gracing the Caribbean before exploring the Mediterranean in early 2019.
