Has your TV viewing felt a little empty since the final episode of February’s Cruising with Jane McDonald? Well, our favourite cruiser is back on Friday 1st September 2017!
Which ships will take centre stage?
After her previous voyages with MSC Cruises, Holland America Line and the river cruise line, Uniworld, Jane will be taking to the seas (and rivers) on-board a new set of ships. Each week will see the former Loose Women presenter boarding the likes of Avalon Poetry II, Celestyal Crystal, the recently christened MSC Meraviglia and Viking Sky.
But Cruising with Jane McDonald isn’t all about the ships. The show will also shine the spotlight on some of the most exciting destinations around the world. Jane will depart from Lyon for Provence on a tranquil trip down the Rhone River, circumnavigate stunning Cuba, sail the sun-soaked Mediterranean and embark on her first ever cruise to Scandinavia.
Feel good TV
We can’t wait to see what Jane thinks of each iconic (and sometimes unexpected) stop on her journey, as well as the on-board experience. After all, who wouldn’t lose their mind over a bathroom stocked with Hermes toiletries and the chance to sample fine champagne?
“Honestly, this show is just like all my outtakes,” Jane McDonald told HuffPost UK. “We have a bit of a pub crawl on one [episode]. Twenty bars on a ship and I fell off the wagon that night. I was in a very dark place the next day. I don’t think I even got up for the shoot.”
The first episode of series two of Cruising with Jane McDonald airs on Friday 1st September at 9pm. Don’t miss it, and don’t forget that you can join us on Twitter and Facebook to discuss Jane’s adventures during the breaks!
