Does my European Health Card EHIC cover me on a European cruise?

An EHIC will cover some illnesses and emergencies during your time in port in EU countries, but it won’t cover you at sea and it won’t cover you for major emergencies. Therefore it’s vital that you purchase travel insurance before you travel.
